(HerobrineThe2nd's POV:)
I watched in astonishment at the new babies. The red one with lots of brown-red speckles and what looked like cracks on his scales was the Nether Dragon. The Aether Dragon was light blue with a lapis-lazuli shade of blue for the runes all over it. The Forest Dragon was the one with many shades of green on the scales. The Ender Dragon, of course, was the black, grey, and purple one. Finally, there was the Ghost Dragon, that was made up completely of bones, except for the spirit aura on her stomach and the part of the wings she used to fly.

We all wanted very badly to start oohing and aahing, but we knew it would scare the hatchlings. We all backed up a few blocks, and sat down. I took out the fish I had caught, and passed some to everyone. We all took our fish out, and the hatchlings saw it. They all looked at each other, and stayed close together as they slowly advanced.
Wow, I never knew dragons were pack animals, I thought. I pushed that thought away for another time, and continued to steadily wait for my dragon to choose me.

The Nether Dragon separated from the group first, and walked over to Scorch. He timidly took a bite, then realized right away that he loved fish, so he started shoving fish in his mouth, and Scorch gave out a happy laugh seeing his new friend so happy. "Good boy," he said, "I'm gonna call you Maximum." Maximum purred like a cat, and curled up happily next to Scorch, who just kept petting him with his blaze rods.

The Enderdragon saw Endy right away, and he started running over, but he was going so fast for an infant, he fell on his face. The poor thing was about to cry, when Endy teleported over and stroked its head.
"Hey, it's ok. You're going to be just fine. Here, eat some fish, BlackBolt," Endy said as he held out some fish for the baby. He started eating slowly, then picked up speed fast, really enjoying his treat. The dragon finished and looked up at Endy, and purred as he curled up in Endy's lap. Endy just smiled and pet his new bond.

The Aether Dragon started walking towards Chris, then stopped when it saw Maybelle too. Maybelle let out a friendly hiss, and I guess the dragon just wasn't expecting that, and it jumped back. Chris let out his friendly hiss as well, and the Aether dragon saw him, and I guess she was more comfortable with Chris's sound more. She snuggled up to Chris, and he fed her some fish as he asked, "you like that, SkyDoesAether?" We all chuckled mildly at that. Chris has a fondness for Minecraft YouTubers.

The forest dragon had watched the whole thing, and even if Maybelle didn't, he felt sad seeing Maybelle alone. He walked up to her very timidly-I know for a fact Forest Dragons are the most shy species of dragon. Maybelle looked in his direction and smiled, as she offered him some fish. He slowly started eating, and was only at a normal speed of eating when Maybelle had run out of fish. He smiled at Maybelle, and purred, just like all the rest, as he snuggled under her left arm-well, leg. She stroked him softly and whispered, "good boy, Gabe."

The last dragon remained, all alone and isolated, not caring about the fish. I slowly approached the Ghost Dragon, and said, "hey, girl." She turned slightly to face me, and looked up at me. I was a little spooked out that she looked me directly in the eye for so long (part Ender) but I continued to smile and said, "hi, how are you? You ok, girl? What's wrong?" She looked back at me with piercing, beautiful bright blue eyes, and I saw a single tear fall. I kneeled down and stroked her, temped to pull her into a hug. She put her head on my shoulder, and I knew she was sad because she had been alone, and wasn't sure who was right for her. I took out some fish and said, "here. You need to eat, ok?" She obeyed, and purred at my touch when I pet her afterward.

She curled up to me and I heard a thought go through my head,
Well, now I know who's right for me.
That's right! I thought, remembering how when dragons are too young to talk out loud, or even if they're fully grown, dragons can communicate with telepathy. (If you don't know what that is, while impossible, telepathy is communicating with someone through thoughts, images, etc.)
She continued to purr and asked, so, what's my name going to be?
I smiled gently as I stroked her and said out loud, "Spirit."
I really like that name, said Spirit, as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
I'm glad you do, I thought, channeling the thought towards her. I knew she received it when she smiled in her sleep.
