You, the golden retriever bright,
All warmth and joy, a glowing light.
I, the black cat, sleek and still,
A quieter soul, with a sharper will. You bound through life with open arms,
Chasing dreams, embracing charms.
I watch from shadows, calm and slow,
But in your light, I start to glow.Your laughter fills the endless skies,
While I observe with steady eyes.
Yet somehow, in this dance we've spun,
Our hearts are stitched, two souls as one.You pull me out when I retreat,
And I ground you when life feels fleet.
Though we're so different, worlds apart,
We share the same unspoken heart. In every wag, in every purr,
We find a balance, we endure.
A golden soul, a shadow's grace—
Best friends in every time and space.
