The speed of the twins' feet betrayed them as they were cornered by a gigantic green body with many strange symbols drawn on it. They froze as they saw a figure rise from that spinning body that surrounded them. Then, they finally realised what was around them.
A gigantic snake.
Its yellow glowing eyes made the twins shiver on the spot, retreating carefully as the snake just grew bigger and bigger, becoming taller than the pine trees around them, its shadow covering the light of the sun that hit them before. Will gulped. "Wh-What do we do now. . .?"
"I. . . I. . ." Bill was sweating. "I don't know—"
The snake's tail slides on the snow and makes both of them fall with their backs to the floor. They sit down and push themselves to retreat further from the snake, but it continues towering over the two of them.
"Bill!" Will called out, desperately, when he saw the snake head towards Bill.
Bill started to breath with his mouth. He turned his head away and shut his eyes tightly when the snake's head got close to his own. He gritted his teeth and his sweat started dropping to the floor, a few tears forming in his eyes as he felt the snake's breath on his cheek.
"Bill Cipher."
Bill opened one of his eyes, but didn't yet say anything.
"You should be dead."
He opened both of his eyes and looked at the snake, though keeping his head turned the other way. "Screw you."
"Bill!" Will scolded.
The snake then moved to Will. Will his his face behind his arms and had his legs attached to his chest. The snake tilted its head. "William. . . Wilbur. . . Cipher. . ."
"Who are you? How do you know our names?!" Will asked.
"I am Naga."
Bill turned to it. "So, Naga, what do you want from us?"
The snake's tail wraps around Bill and brings it closer to its head and Will. "I want to know you again."
The twins were both confused. "We. . . Met before?" Bill asked.
"Bill, stop asking questions—"
Naga dropped Bill onto the snow and grabbed Will, making sure its tail hid his mouth as well. Bill stood up. "Hey! Let him go!"
"Stay down or he'll face the consequences."
Bill frowned, but complied: he sat down on the ground. "You didn't answer my question."
"Yes, we did." Naga said. "In a previous time. Far away time." it said. "I have lived since the beginning of the universe, but my consciousness lived through another man."
Bill raised an eyebrow. "Another man. . .? Could you be more specific?"
"Don't you remember, Lord Cipher?"
Bill smiled lightly. "Lord Cipher? I think I like that title."
Will frowned at him. Incredulous, brother.
Naga smiled. "That's how I called you." he said. "Me and many others."
Bill frowned with suspicion. "Sure. . . Lord Cipher. . . I totally used to be called that."
"Don't you remember?" Naga seemed upset.
"Uh. . . You got the wrong guy—"
"THERE IS ONLY ONE BILL CIPHER IN THIS MULTIVERSE." Naga yelled. "And that is you. . ."
