Pacifica Pleasure tapped the red gem of her purple staff, feeling annoyed at how long it was taking her to connect with the people she wanted to call. "Come on." she mumbled. "Why are they not picking up?"
"Is something wrong, Great Dame?" the driver, a woman, asked.
Pacifica smiled lightly at her. "Nothing, nothing." she turned back to the crystal. Sighing. Okay. . . Since they won't pick up, I might as well find out why. Nine symbols appeared on her staff and she swiped from a pine tree symbol until she got a wolf head symbol. She clicked on it and the gem glowed blue inside, turning a shade of purplish. That was the part she liked about having to call him.
From the crystal, a small square-shaped blue screen appeared, with a white-haired man with bright blue eyes that reminded of aquamarines. He took a sip from a wine glass. "Look who decided to call. . . Dame Pleasure herself."
Pacifica smiled. "Hello, Demigod."
The man eyed her up and down after the sarcastic remark. "What do you want?"
"Today is the day I return! Aren't you happy to be seeing me again?"
"Happy is exaggerated." he said. "But this is not why you called me."
"No, it's not," Pacifica admitted. "I tried getting a hold of them, but none of the two picked up. What's going on?"
The man raised an eyebrow. "You really disconnected yourself with tje news of Infinite Gravity, didn't you?"
Pacifica rolled her eyes. "Just tell me what's going on. I'm worried!"
The man laughed. "Of course, of course," he said. "The twins are at war."
Pacifica's eyes went wide. "What?! B—But— When? Why?!"
"Cipher followers managed to get through this dimension." he took another sip of wine. "They even let out some mutant spirits from other dimensions roam free into our town's forest. Apparently, they also found out about the prophecy and are looking for the new reincarnated Ciphers."
Pacifica gulped. She could not think of Cipher being reincarnating yet. She was still 16, she was not ready to face him. "So he's back, huh?"
"I don't know," the man said. "I'm investigating."
Pacifica nod slowly. "Please keep me updated," she said. "And also, update me if the twins come back."
"Sure, sure." the man took one last sip of wine, then turned his head to the side. "Felix, more wine!"
"Don't you think now is not the time to be drinking so much wine?" Pacifica asked.
"I'm a grown man with a lot of stress, I'm entitled to as much wine as I want," he stated. "I'm hanging up now. Welcome home, Pacifica."
The screen disappeared and the gem was back to its reddish colour. Pacifica sighed, then smiled.
It was good to be back.

As she finally got inside of the town, she told the driver to stop the car. Before she went home to her lovely parents, there was something important she needed to do: visit them. No, not the same them that she was talking to the Demigod about, but they were related anyways. The night was the one she wanted to see the most, but either or both of them was just wonderful enough for her.
She took a deep breath and smoothed her skirt, making her way to the Library of Time, where she would certainly find them, or else they'd be at their palace. With a soft push on the door, she heard a ringing sound and a clock-shaped floor greeted her. She walked in, looking at her surroundings with a smile. "Lee? Ford?"
