As the sun starts to go down, they dry off and head back to the school. The week goes by fast, maybe a little too fast for either of their likings. Chloe's alarm goes off as the two groan. Chloe reaches over and turns it off. "Red, baby, we gotta get up." Red mumbles something and buries her face into Chloe's shoulder more. Chloe giggles. "Red, come on. We have class, we can't be late, we've already missed a week." And a blissful week it was, for Red. Spending every waking moment with Chloe has probably spoiled her but she doesn't care. "I don't want to." Red whines. "But we have to." Chloe laughs as she untangles herself from Red and stands up. She stretches her limbs and cracks her neck. Her tattoo shows through her hair. Red groans before sitting up. "Fine, but just because you're my soulmate." She also stands and stretches, her tattoo peaking out from under her shirt, hidden by her shorts.
They take turns using the restroom and getting ready. Once they both finish, they hold hands as they walk to History of Magic. "Hello girls, glad you could join us, i hope you're feeling better Red?" The teacher asks her. Red nods. "Yes, much. Thank you." They both take their seats and hold hands during the lesson. Since Chloe was right handed and Red was left, they could still hold hands even when they had to write something down. About halfway through the lesson, Red leans over to Chloe. "Do you get any of this?" She whispered. "Yeah, why? You need help?" Chloe looks at her. "I'm a little lost, yeah." Red admits. Chloe smiles at her before scooting closer and explaining the lesson. Soon, the lesson ends and they head to their next class. "I don't understand how you love History." Red shakes her head. Chloe shrugs. "I like knowing events that have happened in the past. Like how we got to where we are now." "Gods, you're such a nerd." Red rolls her eyes as she sets her bag down in the next class. Again, they sit next to each other and hold hands during the lesson, this time Chloe was the one who was confused. Meanwhile, Red was taking notes and even answering some questions. "Why am i not surprised that you would be good at Potions and Alchemy?" Chloe smirks. Red shrugs. "I used to make smoke bombs and heart firecrackers back in Wonderland. Kind of rebelling against my mother." Red smiles. Chloe shakes her head as she smiles. "Yup, not surprised."
Classes are finally over as Chloe unlocks the door to their room and throws her bag on the desk, with Red following suit. She plops down on the bed and sighs. "I knew i should have stayed in the hospital." She mumbles before Chloe throws a pillow at her. "Don't even joke about that." Red smiles and tosses the pillow behind her before she grabs Chloe and pulls her on top of her. Chloe rests her head on Red's chest as she wraps her arms around her waist. "Why? Were you worried about me?" Red smiles as she kisses the top of her head. Chloe's tattoo shines behind her hair. "Maybe." Chloe mumbles. Red laughs as she plays with her hair. They lay like that for a few minutes. Just enjoying each other's company and touch before Chloe sits up. "We should probably get started on our homework." Red groans as she detached herself from her soulmate. "Fine." They sit across from each other, cross legged as they study. After a few minutes, Red was already done with their alchemy homework, whereas Chloe was still struggling. "Need some help there?" She smirks. Chloe sighs. "I just don't get this!" She throws her pencil down in frustration. "Ok, come here." She closes all the books, makig sure to mark the pages, and sets them all down on the floor. "Wait, what are you doing?" Chloe tries to grab it back before Red stops her. "Taking a break, you're gonna fry your brain if you keep this up." Red lightly pushes a strand of hair out of her face. Chloe nods. "You're right. We should just take a break from all the studying." Red smiles before kissing her cheek. "What was that for?" Chloe smiles. Red shrugs. "I don't know, i just felt like kissing you." Chloe raises her eyebrow. "Well, i wouldn't mind a kissing break." Red smirks. "Really?" She starts climbing on top of Chloe. "Mhmm." Chloe leans back until she's laying down with Red on top of her.
She props herself up as she leans down to kiss Chloe. She starts slow and sensual as Chloe wraps her arms around Red's neck and pulls her down more. Red's tongue quickly swipes against Chloe's lips, asking for entrance. Chloe quickly allows her access before her hands travel down to Red's hips. They both start to moan and breathe heavy as they battle for dominance. Red bites Chloe's lips as they pull away, breathless. "We should uh....we should probably get back to studying." Red pants. Chloe nods. "Yeah, you're right. We should." She breathes heavy as she stares into Red's eyes. She feels her tattoo burn as she suddenly sits up. "We uh, we should definitely get back to studying." Chloe grabs her books and goes back to her reading. Red just sits up, dumbfounded. What just happened? They were just in a heated make out session and suddenly Chloe wants to study? "Are you ok, boo?" Red asks her. Chloe nods. "Yeah, i just think we should really get back to studying, we have a test coming up soon." Red finds it oddly convenient that they were just on top of one another and suddenly Chloe wants to study. She understands that her soulmate is a little goody two shoes but in the middle of a make out session? That's never happened before. "Are you sure?" She asks. Chloe nods as she ties up her hair. "Yeah, don't wanna fail, you know?" Red feels her tattoo heat up a bit but doesn't question it. It doesn't burn her. Might irritate a little but doesn't burn. Whatever it was, Chloe will tell her eventually. Chloe however, was on fire. Was this what Red felt when she was hiding the fact that they're soulmates? She tied up her hair to help cool off her tattoo but it was no use. Their shared tattoo burned into like a thousand suns. It was too soon, wasn't it? They've barely been together for a week. But then again, the soulmate timeline, that's basically a year. No, she can't. She'll tell her eventually, they'll be fine. She'll be fine.
