As the employees started to fill the announcement room, Ansh felt the weight of their curious gazes. He shifted uncomfortably on the stage beside Kunj, who stood tall and confident, radiating a sense of authority that was evident. The crowd's expressions shifted from confusion to curiosity. they were scanning him, trying to connect the dots of who this young boy was and his sudden presence alongside their boss. Kunj, however, seemed completely composed.
Kunj held Ansh's hand, squeezing it in reassurance when he noticed Ansh's nervousness. Then, he moved towards the microphone. his presence commanding attention from the packed hall. His voice boomed with authority, leaving no room for doubt.
"Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed colleagues," he began, his tone firm. "I want to start by expressing my gratitude to each and every one of you for being here today, especially on such short notice. Your presence means a lot to me, and I appreciate your willingness to gather at a moment's notice. I won't take up much of your time, and I won't hide behind the bush - I'll come straight to the point."
He paused, surveying the room with a confident gaze, ensuring everyone's attention was focused on him.
"This morning, my son faced unacceptable difficulties entering our office building due to a lack of awareness about his relationship with me. I will not tolerate such incidents in the future."
Kunj's eyes scanned the room, his gaze lingering on each face, as if daring anyone to challenge his words.
"Anshuman, please come forward," Kunj said, His voice softened slightly as he turned to Ansh, his expression warm and proud.
Ansh stepped forward, standing beside Kunj, as all eyes turned to him.
"This young gentleman here," Kunj continued, his hand on Ansh's shoulder, "is my son, Anshuman Ridhima Kunj Sarna."
Everyone's eyes widened in surprise, including Ansh, and a collective gasp filled the room.
Kunj's words were a soothing balm to the sting Ansh felt when the receptionist said that Kunj didn't have a family other than Aarav and Adhir. Kunj's announcement was a reassuring confirmation that Ansh was just as important to him as Aarav and Adhir. It shattered everything Ansh had believed before Kunj came into his life, revealing that his previous assumptions were all lies. This declaration was a proof of his father's love for him.
