Chapter 22: LUCKILY

Joon-oh POV:
I arrived at the hospital and saw Min-soo's dad. I approached him.
"Sorry, sir! I'm a detective, and I'm in charge of your wife's murder case."
"I thought it was closed."
"Well, I reopened it."
"So what do you want from me?"
"I just need to ask you a few questions." "Permission not granted; just leave!"
"Sir! Why should I? Or are you hiding something? You killed your wife, did you?"
he grabbed me by my collar.
"Hey! You bastard, I didn't kill her. If I really wanted to kill her, I would have done it by beating her up, but still, I couldn't. Do you know why? It's because she was my bank, my wallet."
I let go of his grip; I had heard enough.
"You're such a despicable man; I see why your son left you!"
"That punk left on his own accord; anyway, we've severed all ties."
He kept speaking ill of the deceased woman and his son, making me angry. I grabbed his collar and threatened him.
"If you ever say a word about that woman and her child again, I will kill you for sure."
I pushed him and left the hospital,he looks like the culprit but he's not the one,he doesn't have to mind to kill someone.

Ji-young POV:
I regret telling him; it's my fault. I don't want to lose him. I stayed beside his bed; I don't want to lose him like I lost my parents, siblings, and the one I loved with all my heart. I went to my office and brought out a picture frame of Soo-hee. Although I married Hye-soo, my heart still belongs to Soo hee ............ (Heart broken).

Ha-young POV:
A few days passed; I wonder if grandma is looking for me? Or maybe she's not. I stepped out for a walk and saw someone familiar - Joon-oh. He can't see me; I tried to run, but he stopped me. "Ma'am! You dropped this!"
I turned to him.
"You?"
We stared at each other for a long time.

Joon-oh POV:
Why does she look familiar? I know I've seen her somewhere before. She bowed her head.
"I'll leave now."
"Okay! Get home safely, okay!"
"Hmmm, yes!"
She left, I'm still trying to figure out where we met.

Min-soo POV:
I wonder where she went. She soon came.
"Yah! Where did you go?"
"I went out for a walk!"
"Oh, okay! The guys aren't back yet! Let's go get something to eat."
"Okay!"
She smiled at me. Wow, that smile is so cute, Let's go,We went to a store.

Ji-young POV:
I went out for a drive and suddenly bumped into someone. I got out of the car.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes sir,I am!"
"Should I take you to the hospital?"
"No, it's fine!"
"No, let's go to the hospital!"
I took him to the hospital.
"Thank you, sir!"
"You're welcome! Please be careful next time! And don't drink too much"
"Okay! Yes, sir!"

Ki-Hyun POV:
I was going home when his car suddenly ran into me. Thankfully, he didn't hit me hard. Wow, I should have pretended to be hurt; he looks rich. I followed him out.
"Should I drop you off?"
"Hmm, sir! I..."
"Come on, let's go!"
He took me in his car; gosh, he's so nice. We reached my house.
"Thank you, sir."
I bowed my head.

Min-soo POV:
A car parked in front of the house; I wonder who it is? It was ki-Hyun. I went to him, and the car left. "Yah! Ki-Hyun, what's up?"
"Nothing"
"Oh! Okay! Geez, I smell alcohol?"
"Yes, I was kind of drunk."
"Kind of?" "Let's go inside."

Ji-young POV:
While dropping the boy off, I saw a familiar face - a girl. I don't know why I feel like I know her from somewhere! She looks like Ha-joon! No, it can't be her,I'm just hallucinating.
