Madame Lee revealed that the watch's curse was ancient and powerful, but she could transfer it to a new vessel. However, the process came with a warning: the curse would intensify, and the new host would suffer greatly.
Ji-young and Hye-soo agreed, hoping to free themselves from the curse's grip. But just as the ritual began, a surprise revelation shook them, Hye-soo was pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl.
Madame Lee declared that the curse would only transfer to one child, but they had to choose which one. In a heart-wrenching decision, they chose to transfer the curse to the female twin, hoping to spare their son.
As the ritual completed, the curse was transferred, but an unexpected twist occurred,the male twin, now free from the curse, began to wither away, as if his connection to his sister was severed.
