Chapter 39:LOST IN THE DARK

Few days later....
Ha-young POV:
    I was cleaning the house and I stumbled upon a book. I took it out and opened it......
Author POV:
Ha-young's eyes widened as she uncovered the dark truth. The watch, passed down from her grandfather, was a curse designed to consume her entire young family - her father, brother, and herself. The mother, not biologically related, was spared.

The curse's plan was to claim each family member's life, starting with the oldest. But when Ha-young found Min-soo, her survival was ensured, and the curse's plan was temporarily foiled.

However, Ha-young soon discovered that Min-soo was meant to die in her place all along. He was the intended sacrifice to save her life. Overwhelmed with grief and guilt, Ha-young made a heart-wrenching decision.

on the other hand min-soo knew that the time has come for him to sacrifice his life for hers, he decided to take her out on a joy ride, which would be their Last one forever, after the ride the,they both sat on a bench......
She placed her heads on his shoulder.........
"I have something for you"
He said to her,then he brought out a necklace and placed it round her neck, staring at her passionately.....
In his mind"I wish we can be like this forever and ever,I wish we could spend our entire lives together forever, I'm sorry I have to leave this way,I love you". He said to himself as he pulled her in for a long kiss.......after the kiss,she slept on his shoulders, he then kissed her head and said"I love you, please don't be angry with me, and don't cry when I'm gone".he kissed her again, tears dropping from his eyes, he brought out a pill and took it,then he rest his body on her ...........

He later opened his eyes, only to discover himself in an hospital....
"What I'm I doing here? I thought I'm supposed to be Dead"......
    Some people rushed in.....
Looking at them....
"Tae-Oh, ki-Hyun, what are you doing here?! And where is  Ha-young? "
" Min-soo!! She's "
    They started to cry...........
" Where's Ha-young?!! "
" She dropped this"
     They gave him a letter.
The letter......
Min-soo ah!! Thank you for coming into my life, I'm glad we met, but today I have to say goodbye, I exchanged the pills, I'm sorry, I can't let you die, I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me, I hope you find peace with yourself, I wish you good luck and I hope you live a good life, I love you. Bye!
" No!! No!!!,why?!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha-young!!! "
   He ran out of the hospital and fell to the ground,crying.........
" Ha-young!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

To save Min-soo's life, Ha-young chose to end her own,With her last breath, she whispered, "I'm sorry, Min-soo. I should have died instead of you. I love you."

Min-soo, oblivious to Ha-young's plan, his heart shattered into a million pieces. The curse had claimed another victim, but Ha-young's ultimate sacrifice saved Min-soo's life, freeing him from the watch's dark grasp.
