Min-soo POV
Our connection grew stronger as we spent more time together. Our conversations delved deeper, and I began to understand her, I learnt more about her past.....
I asked her a question "What's the most important thing to you?"
Ha-young thought for a moment before answering,
"I really don't know"
"Hmm!!, So you don't like anything or value anything?!!
"Well, everything seems new to me!!"
"Nevermind!!Are you hungry?!!"
"Mmm"
"Okay then let's go, I'll take you to the best place in downtown"
She smiled at me..... I smiled back at her.
On our way,she talked about, things she would love to do for people,I listened intently, and I noticed how compassionate and caring Ha-young was.
We soon got to the place, I ordered two bowls of ramen........
"Hmmm it delicious!!"
"Yes, I told you it's the best place downtown"
We ate the food with joy. I had a crazy Idea
"Yah!! Let's do a drinking competition!!!!!!"
" But I don't know how to drink "
" I'll teach you "
I ordered 4 bottles of soju.
" Let's start with these "
I thought her how to drink, though she was drunk..... But I wasn't..... I piggy backed her and took her home.
" Min-soo ah!!! "
" Hmm"
" Thank you!! "
Author POV:
As the days passed by.......
Their mutual understanding deepened, and they found themselves drawn to each other even more.
Min-soo and Ha-young's relationship continued to blossom, with each passing day bringing them closer together. One evening, as they walked through a garden, their arms brushed against each other, sending a spark of electricity through both of them.
They exchanged a brief, awkward glance, before quickly looking away, trying to brush off the moment. But the tension between them was palpable.
Min-soo couldn't shake off the feeling that he wanted to hold her hand, to be closer to her. Ha-young, too, felt a flutter in her chest, wondering if Min-soo might feel the same way.
As they continued walking, the silence between them grew thicker, filled with unspoken emotions. They both knew that their friendship was evolving into something more, but neither dared to acknowledge it.
Suddenly, Ha-young stumbled, and Min-soo instinctively caught her, his arms wrapping around her waist. They stood there, frozen, their faces inches apart.
Min-soo's arms tightened around Ha-young's waist, holding her close as she regained her balance. Their faces were inches apart, and they could feel each other's warm breath.
Ha-young's heart raced as she looked up into Min-soo's eyes, seeing a deep concern and care there. Min-soo, too, felt his heart skip a beat as he gazed into Ha-young's eyes, seeing a spark of attraction.
For a moment, they just stood there, frozen in time, the world around them melting away. Then, without thinking, Min-soo leaned in, his lips brushing against Ha-young's forehead in a gentle, tender kiss.
Ha-young's eyes closed, and she felt a rush of emotions. She knew in that moment that she had fallen for Min-soo.
Min-soo, too, knew that he had crossed a line, but he couldn't help himself. He felt a deep connection with Ha-young, and he couldn't deny it anymore.
As they pulled back, Ha-young's eyes met Min-soo's, both in Awark silence...... But Min-soo decided to break the silence....
"So, Are you in for another round of soju?!!"
"No!!"
"Why?"
"I'm not a fan"
"Argh!!! Gosh!! You're missing out on the fun!!"
"Fine, but only for today"
"Let's go!!"
