In the blazing heat of the summer, she found Kuroo barging into her quiet house frequently.

[Name] quietly ate her microwaved noodles for breakfast. The female was a rather lonely person. Family was never that present in her life now, and when they were, they would coop up in their room and get some more work of theirs done. She was never given the proper amount of love and care recently, but she has accepted that she will never get a loving hug from any of them anytime soon. It unfortunately contributes to her struggle of attempting to help others when they are deep in their sadness. [Name] fully knows they do it all for her, because they struggle, but she cannot help but feel lonely. When she was younger, she would pour all her overwhelming feelings into volleyball.

Those days have ended long ago, however. A soft sigh escaped her lips, loneliness taking her entire being over.

A sudden knock at her door awoke her from her trance, groggily getting up and setting down her chopsticks to see who the mysterious knocker is.

The door opened, "... Kuroo?" Her face somehow grew to be even more irritated that it usually looked in the morning.

"Pardon the intrusion!" He announced, suddenly walking into her home. The female panicked, waking up to come to her senses.

[Name] quickly grabbed his shoulder, but it was to no avail since he kept walking, "Hey! Get out, you can't just-!" He flicked her forehead, a smirk on his lips. He was careless, waltzing into another persons' home with no issues. [Name] whined incoherent words as the flick was rather painful.

Kuroo chuckled, seeing her puzzled reaction to grabbing her face due to the sudden tiny pain, "No family? Where could they be?"

The [hair color] haired girl jolted, the sudden question catching her off guard, only to leave her with a distant memory she could no longer reach. "... Somewhere," she turned her head to the side. Why did he even...? Not the point, why was he even here?!

"Okay," he turned, seeing a nearby light switch. He flipped it on, the bright lights making [Name] flinch. "What are you, a vampire? You need some light in your life." With that saying, he jogged on over to the living room, whipping open the black out curtains for some natural lighting. "... Oh, and good morning."

"... Good morning." Kuroo saw the glare on her face and ignored it. He adjusted his own black hair, turning over and walking towards her. "Do you always eat that?"

"Why are you getting all in my business?" [Name] grumbled, taking her noodles and eating yet another bite. "You being in my home is already annoying- don't make it any worse than it has to be."

"Angry are we?" Kuroo smiled.

'That stupid smile. Again.'

"Why are you here?" She asked, crossing her arms. Kuroo was now slouched over the kitchen counter, humming a quick tune before he answered.

"To pick you up."

"For?"

"School. What else, dummy?"

"..." Kuroo was right. There was no other reason, considering she would be against skipping anyway, and he would probably have to miss volleyball practice if he ditched. However, there was most definitely another reason, given that it was way too early to even start walking there. "You... do you not have morning practice?"

"I don't," he shrugged. "I was hoping you'd come with me to some place real quick. Afterwards, we can head to school."

"... I don't... why don't you just go by yourself?" She sighed, shaking her head. He's always had a knack for dragging her into activities she never wants to be in. "I'm sure you can do this just fine by yourself-"
