"All the baseboards are ash wood?" Derek asked the young alpha once everything had calmed down a bit.

"Uh, yeah, it was Deaton's idea..." Scott nodded, before a from settled on his face. "And where the hell did you come from?"

"We were in the neighbourhood." He simply put it. Not saying that he felt like something was wrong and that that was the real reason he came here.

"...For how long?" Scott asked sceptically. He knew that Derek often liked to hide the truth from him.

"A good while." Derek said before continuing, "Abigail wanted to go shopping, we happened to pass your street when we heard your mom yell."

Scott was still unsure if he should believe the story. He wouldn't be surprised if Derek had actually followed him around all day, but then again he probably wouldn't have brought Abigail if that were the case.

His innerturmoil was interupted by his mother.

"Scott, this isn't good!" Melissa called hysterically. Her hands covered in blood where she was putting pressure on Rafael's wound. Abigail watched from afar as Scott approached the two. Worried about his dad, even though he didn't really like him at the moment it was still his dad. With soft eyes, Abigail went to approach the broken family of three but was stopped by a firm hand on her arm. It was one of the twins and he had a scowl on his face, eyes glowing blue like Derek's.

The blonde glanced around and saw that the other twin was holding another girl, she guessed that it was Kira.

"You going to tell us what you are?" The twin holding Kira asked her. The darked haired girl watched him for a moment, unsure of what he meant.

"What? What do you mean?" she asked the boy who didn't let up on his grip on her arm.

"Aiden..." The other twin said to his brother in a warning. He wasn't sure what he was planning but he hoped that it didn't involve hurting these girls.

"And don't get me started on that girl there! who even is she?!" Aiden exclaimed to his brother. He stopped short for a moment, wondering why his brothers eyes were glowing even though he was sure that it wasn't his intention. The other brother wondered exactly the same.

As much as Abigail didn't want to be hurt by Aidens words she got it, she was different she knew that. But she didn't think of it as a bad thing, however Aiden seemed to think differently.

"Watch!" Aiden said and brought Kira's hand up to the barrier, it lit up blue and was like a force field. stopping anything from breaching it. "See that? She can't go through it, either and i know for sure that blondie over there also can't! So, what are you?"

with a sigh, Derek rounded the corner. Eyes glowing as soon as they landed on a certain blonde girl.

"She's a Kitsune, idiot." he mumbled. "Use your eyes, you can see it all around her. The younger ones give off an aura. She just hasn't learned how to conceal it, yet. She probably doesn't know what kind she is, either."
