Even after Jungkook's hostile response, Taehyung was still struggling to wrap his head around the fact that this guy wasn't Minho.

Twins? He hadn't mentioned that on the train! And yet, the resemblance was uncanny.But instead of backing off, Taehyung's curiosity got the better of him.

Over the next few days, every time he saw Jungkook around the base, he tried to strike up a conversation, thinking maybe, just maybe, Jungkook would warm up to him.

Of course, Jungkook had other plans.One afternoon, Taehyung spotted Jungkook by the mess hall and made his way over, grinning like they were old friends.

"Jungkook! So, do you and Minho share everything? Like, do you both write poetry? Or is he the only one with the artistic soul?"Jungkook glared at him, trying desperately to eat his lunch in peace.

"For the last time, I don't write poetry. I punch things. You wanna find out how good I am at that?"Taehyung just laughed it off, undeterred.

"You know, you're really good at playing the tough guy. I'm starting to think you're just as sensitive as Minho deep down."Jungkook's jaw clenched, and for a second, Taehyung thought he might actually get punched.

Later that week, during a training exercise, Taehyung spotted Jungkook again. This time, he decided to approach with a different tactic.

He figured maybe Jungkook was just jealous of how well he and Minho had connected, so Taehyung decided to compliment him instead.

"You know, you're really strong, Jungkook. I bet Minho couldn't handle this kind of training."Jungkook dropped the weights he was holding and turned to Taehyung with a look of sheer disbelief.

"Are you kidding me right now?"

Taehyung (innocently): "What? I'm just saying, you've got this tough-guy thing down. You're probably stronger than your brother."Jungkook's eye twitched again.

He took a deep breath, clearly trying to maintain his composure.Jungkook: "Listen, if I hear you say my brother's name one more time, I will not be responsible for what happens next."Taehyung blinked, realizing he might've pushed a bit too far.

But instead of backing off, he smiled sheepishly. "Got it. No more Minho talk. So... want to grab dinner later?"Jungkook stared at him for a long moment before finally shaking his head in disbelief.

Jungkook: "You're unbelievable."
