And suprise for you all double updated

Jungkook sat with Jimin and Jin at their usual spot in the mess hall, feeling unusually tense. Taehyung was running late, which was rare.

He was usually the first to show up, bouncing in with that bright smile that had inexplicably become the highlight of Jungkook’s day.

But today, Jungkook wasn’t sure if he could handle that smile. Not after what happened.Earlier that day, Taehyung had dropped a bomb on him.

Flashback to Earlier That DayThey had been training together as usual, the afternoon sun casting long shadows across the field.

Jungkook had just wiped the sweat from his brow when Taehyung, with his usual unfiltered energy, leaned in close and whispered,

“Hey, Jungkook. I need your help.”Jungkook, distracted by how close Taehyung was standing, had barely managed a reply.

“With what?”Taehyung grinned, looking a little shy for once.

“I need your advice… on how to impress someone.”Jungkook blinked in surprise.

“Someone? Who?”Taehyung’s face turned a little pink as he looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. “Your brother, Minho.”Jungkook’s heart plummeted into his stomach.

He hadn’t seen that coming. At all.Jungkook: “Minho?” he repeated, trying to keep his voice steady. “You like Minho?”Taehyung nodded enthusiastically, completely unaware of the storm brewing inside Jungkook.

“Yeah, I know he’s kind of grumpy, but he’s also so cool, you know? I’ve liked him for a while, but I’m not sure how to get his attention.”Jungkook felt like someone had punched him in the gut.

He had spent weeks months falling for Taehyung, despite his best efforts not to. And now, here Taehyung was, asking him for advice on how to impress his twin brother.

Jungkook forced a tight smile, trying to swallow the lump in his throat.

“I… I don’t know if that’s a good idea, Taehyung. Minho’s, uh, kind of difficult.”But Taehyung waved him off.

“Come on, you’re his brother! You’ve gotta help me out here.”Jungkook wanted to say no. Every part of him screamed to walk away, to tell Taehyung that he was chasing the wrong person.

But then he saw that hopeful look in Taehyung’s eyes, the one that always seemed to light up his whole face.

“Fine,” he mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper. “I’ll help you.”Back in the Mess HallJungkook stirred his food absentmindedly, his appetite long gone.

Jimin and Jin noticed his unusual silence and exchanged worried glances.

“Hey, Kook. What’s up? You’ve been weirdly quiet today.”

“Yeah, and you’re usually so, you know, grumpy but not this kind of grumpy.”Jungkook sighed, leaning back in his chair. “It’s nothing.”But Jin raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced.

“Doesn’t seem like nothing. Did something happen?”Before Jungkook could respond, Taehyung appeared, bouncing into the mess hall with a smile.

He spotted Jungkook immediately and rushed over.

“Jungkook! I need your advice again!” he said, sliding into the seat next to him.Jungkook groaned internally.

This was the last thing he needed right now.

“Advice on what?”jin was confused Taehyung beamed, completely oblivious to the growing tension.

“I’m trying to figure out how to impress Minho. Jungkook’s helping me!”Jimin’s jaw dropped, while Jin’s eyes widened in surprise.

“Wait, wait. Minho? You’re trying to impress Minho?”Taehyung nodded enthusiastically.

“Yeah! Jungkook’s been super helpful.” He turned to Jungkook, nudging him with a grin.

“Come on, man. You’ve gotta give me more tips. What else does he like?”Jungkook’s heart ached as he watched Taehyung’s innocent excitement.

He didn’t have the heart to tell him the truth that Minho wasn’t interested, that Taehyung was chasing after someone who didn’t deserve him.

But instead, he forced a smile, determined to help Taehyung even if it broke him.

“Minho likes… uh, working out. You could try challenging him to a run or something. He likes competition.”Taehyung’s eyes lit up.

“That’s a great idea! Thanks, Jungkook!”Jungkook gave a weak nod, his stomach churning. This was torture.
