Request for Shayn101Y/n and Leona cuddle fluff :3
Sorry it's kinda short I'm not used to writing fluff and I'm working on a lot of other requests 😭😭
The moon hung low in the sky, casting a soft silver glow over the room. I lay nestled in a cocoon of warmth and comfort, the gentle rhythm of Leona's breathing a soothing lullaby against my ear. We had spent the evening in quiet companionship, a rare and precious break from the chaos of Night Raven College.
Leona's arm was draped over me, a solid and reassuring presence. I could feel the faint rumble of his soft, contented purring—a sound that had become my favorite comfort. His large frame, though often imposing to others, felt like a protective barrier around me. The way he held me close, with a tenderness that contrasted his usual fierce demeanor, made my heart swell with a gentle happiness.
His head rested lightly on top of mine, his warmth radiating through the layers of fabric between us. I shifted slightly to nestle closer, savoring the way his chest rose and fell with each breath. The room was quiet except for the occasional crackle of the fireplace and the distant murmur of the night outside.
"I didn't think I'd ever get used to this," I murmured softly, more to myself than to him.
Leona's response was a low, rumbling purr that vibrated through his chest, a sound that always made me smile. "Get used to what?" he asked, his voice a lazy, velvety drawl.
I looked up at him, catching a glimpse of his relaxed face in the dim light. "Being so close to you. It's... calming. It feels like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be."
He chuckled softly, the sound a deep, comforting rumble. "You think so? I guess I'm not used to being this... open. But with you, it's different."
I traced idle patterns on his chest with my fingertips, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath my hand. "It's strange, isn't it? How being close to someone can make everything else seem so far away."
Leona's fingers gently brushed my hair, a gesture so tender it made my heart flutter. "I guess it is. You have a way of making things seem simpler, it used to piss me off but...I like it now."
I nestled my head back against his shoulder, closing my eyes. The warmth and security I felt with him were unmatched. In this quiet moment, it was easy to forget the pressures and expectations that seemed to loom over us both. Here, wrapped in his embrace, there was only us and the peaceful silence of the night.
"Stay like this?" I whispered, feeling a bit vulnerable but hoping for a confirmation.
Leona's arm tightened around me slightly, a silent promise. "As long as you need."
The minutes stretched into hours as we remained entwined, wrapped in each other's presence. With every breath, every gentle touch, I felt more at home, more connected. It was a rare and precious serenity in the midst of our often tumultuous lives, and I cherished every moment of it.
In Leona's arms, with the world outside fading into insignificance, I knew that this was where I wanted to be. This quiet, unspoken understanding between us was a sanctuary—a place where we could simply be, together.
