The nights at Ramshackle Dorm had always been eerily quiet, but lately, Y/N had started noticing things that felt off. The soft rustle of leaves outside their window sounded heavier, purposeful. The once comforting silence now carried an edge, as if it were holding its breath, waiting for something to happen.
And that something was Malleus, Lilia, Silver, and Sebek.
---
It began innocently enough—or so Y/N thought. Malleus would appear outside the gates of Ramshackle at odd hours, his emerald eyes glowing faintly in the dark. He spoke in his usual cryptic manner, but his visits grew more frequent. Each time, his words grew bolder.
"You are unlike anyone I've met in all my years," he would murmur. "Do you understand how rare that is, Child of Man? How precious you are to me?"
Lilia, too, became a constant presence. Though his tone was lighthearted, his crimson eyes glinted with something darker. He would offer his help unprompted, always knowing exactly what Y/N needed before they even asked. "It's only natural," he'd say with a sly grin. "I have a knack for keeping an eye on things that matter."
Silver, ever soft-spoken, seemed to take on the role of protector. "You've been looking tired," he'd note. "Rest. I'll keep watch. No harm will come to you."
Sebek, on the other hand, was blunt and overbearing. "You attract too much attention," he growled one day after intercepting a conversation between Y/N and a fellow student. "Why waste your time with lesser beings when you have us?"
Each of them had their own way of showing their "affection," but together, their intensity became overwhelming. Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that their world was slowly closing in, the walls growing narrower with every step they took.

One evening, the four of them gathered in the depths of the forest. The air was thick with magic as Malleus stood at the center, his commanding presence undeniable.
"They are too important to be left to chance," Malleus declared, his voice low and resolute. "If we allow them to wander freely, they could be taken from us. We cannot let that happen."
"Agreed," Sebek said immediately, his voice sharp with determination. "The Prefect must be protected at all costs. Only we can ensure their safety!"
Lilia chuckled, the sound light but chilling. "Safety? Is that what we're calling it now? Very well. Let's proceed carefully. We wouldn't want to frighten them too much—at least not yet."
Silver hesitated, his brow furrowing. "Are we certain this is the right thing to do? Taking them... it feels..."
"Necessary," Malleus interrupted, his gaze piercing. "They will come to understand. In time, they will see that this is the only way."
And so, the plan was set.
The night they struck was calm, almost unnervingly so. Y/N had just returned to Ramshackle after a long day, their body heavy with exhaustion. The moment they stepped inside, they noticed something was wrong.
The door creaked shut behind them, and when they turned to look, Malleus stood in the entryway, his imposing figure blocking any chance of escape.
"Do not be afraid," he said softly, though his glowing eyes betrayed the ferocity of his emotions. "This is for your own good."
Before Y/N could respond, Lilia appeared behind them, his movements unnervingly quiet. "You've been working so hard, dear Prefect," he cooed. "Let us take care of you now."
"Let you take care of me?!" Y/N tried to step back, only to find themselves cornered as Sebek and Silver emerged from the shadows.
"You will not resist,, human" Sebek barked, his voice a mixture of command and desperation. "Lord Malleus has spoken, and it is for your benefit!"
Silver looked away, guilt flickering across his face. "Please," he murmured. "Just... trust us. This is what's best."
Y/N tried to push past them, their heart pounding with terror, but Lilia was too quick. He caught them by the wrist, his grip deceptively strong. "Now, now," he said, his tone almost mocking. "Don't make this harder than it has to be."
Malleus stepped closer, his voice resonating with finality. "You are ours, Y/N. From this moment forward, we will not let you go."
---
Y/N woke in an unfamiliar room. The walls were dark stone, adorned with glowing green sigils that pulsed faintly like a heartbeat. The room was lavishly decorated, with black silk sheets, golden candelabras, and bouquets of black roses.
Malleus sat at the foot of the bed, his gaze soft yet unyielding. "You will be happy here," he said simply. "I will ensure it."
Lilia appeared beside him, a playful smile on his lips. "No need to fret, dear Prefect. You're in the best hands now."
Sebek stood by the door, his posture rigid. "No one will ever harm you. No one will even come close!"
Silver lingered in the corner, his expression conflicted. "You'll come to see this as your home," he whispered, though the words sounded more like a plea than a promise.
As the days turned into weeks, Y/N realized just how thorough their captors were. They were never left alone. Every door was guarded, every window magically sealed. Attempts to escape were met with swift intervention—Sebek's unrelenting vigilance, Silver's reluctant but firm restraint, Lilia's unsettling cheerfulness, and Malleus's overwhelming power.
"You belong to us," Malleus reminded them one evening, his voice both tender and possessive. "And we will never let you go."
No matter how hard Y/N fought, their captors remained unyielding. To the four of them, Y/N wasn't just a person—they were a treasure, a beacon of light that none of them could bear to lose.
And in the suffocating embrace of their obsession, Y/N began to wonder if escape was even possible—or if they would be consumed entirely by the darkness of Diasomnia's twisted love.
