Chapter 8

3rd Person's POV

         Fourth and Gemini reached home and Gemini carefully took Fourth to his room so his parents won't yell at him and he came down explaining to his parents that he felt sick so that's why he ran away, and told them to not bring it up again as Fourth was still not feeling well, he than called P'Pond to the cafe nearby and told him everything and planned on sneaking Fourth out to some place safe until his father decides to change his mind, somewhere only him and P'Pond would know. Fourth's brother agreed and decided to start digging up places that could be safe for his brother.         Two days after all of the mess, Pond called Gemini and told him about the place he booked and thought that no one would find Fourth there. It was a place in Chiang mai, a motel with no specific security or CCTV and Pond paid cash instead of credit card incase he would get tracked, Fourth left his phone, cards and everything that might be helpful for his father to catch him. As it was not safe to leave Fourth without keeping tabs, Gemini called his Uncle Phuwin and including him into the plan, Pond always trusted and fancied Phuwin in a loving way, Phuwin would keep a check on Fourth all the time.

Fourth's POV

            It's been a week that I'm living in this motel and I would be lying if I say that I don't like it, even if the place is not expensive or too pretty for some people, I felt something that I craved for my whole life, peace, peace that can wash all the fears off of me, it was like a rain on a sunny day, and like snow in the dark night. I felt like nothing could go wrong yet somehow everything could go wrong.           I was enjoying my existence when I got a call on my room's phone waking me up from my daydreams, I felt horror as I never got a call there. I went to the other side of the bed and picked the call, it was P'Phuwin telling me that my father's men are approaching the motel and that he's unable to reach my brother or Gemini.          I felt panic as i started to find my shoes and before i could even reached the door i heard my father's right hand man Khun Porsche knocking while saying;

"Khun Nattawat please come out of the room in two minutes or I'm breaking in!"

            I felt dizzy as my head was started to feel light i was standing bare feet processing the horror that fell upon me, fear of facing my father and without me knowing two minutes had passed and the bodyguards came in and picked me up from my arms while dragging me, as an instinct I resisted I tried to break free but there were more than twenty men around me and I was just a sixteen year old, I gave up and started walking on my own, I again let my intrusive thoughts win and get the best of me as i started running on the rough ground bare feet, I felt nothing I was just running for my dear life and got caught after few minutes.

           I never was a stubborn kid but in that moment I just screamed while sitting in the car, trying to get the bodyguards hold off of me, as i reached the society i felt my soul leaving my body as I was getting closer to the hell I escaped from, I felt like I'm a culprit to some murder that I committed, like I was the guilty one, like I deserved it. My father was waiting outside the front door and he pulled me out of the car by my arm and dragged me while I screamed, P'Pond was not there nobody was their, my mother was inside, she couldn't care less, I felt humiliated, broken and so much more.

Gemini's POV

            I was sitting in my room while studying when I heard loud screams and I instantly recognized that it was Fourth, how is it possible! I ran downstairs to the front gate, out of my house and saw Khun Paw getting Fourth out of the car while dragging him inside, I was still in shock but then I followed, running and trying to stop him, but he was furious I couldn't even see Fourth's face as he was so fast, he dragged him from the stairs, up to his room without much force like he was just a thing for him, he practically shoved him in his room while yelling 

'I'm getting you engaged tomorrow Nattawat!'

          I panicked as I called P'Pond who was rushing home after getting a call from my Uncle. Fourth's father came walking down and I didn't know what to do, so i just stood their trying to get my brain to work and process everything, P'Pond came in throwing his coat in the air while storming straight to Fourth's room and I followed, as I reached there I saw him crying on the floor while leaning on to the side of his bed, he looked exhausted as I got closer I saw that his feet were red and and their was hints of blood on the floor, I checked and his feet were all scratch and cut because of walking and being dragged by his father while he was bare feet, how can someone do that to their own kid, I don't know why but I feel this urge to protect him from the world, I wish he could be able to smile a smile that reaches his eyes and show his pearly white teeth to the world, I want him to live a life that he wants to, If I can I'll take him and run off this world. P'Pond fixed his feet and tucked him under the blanket so he can rest, while we walked down and I don't know why but all I could think was what Fourth has said to me in the park 'Will you marry me Gemini?' It kept ringing in my ear.

Fourth's POV

            I'm suffocating, I feel sick I don't know what to do, they tucked me in my bed like I can sleep after what happened, especially when I'm hearing clearly that my father and P'Pond are fighting downstairs, I got up from the bed cause I can't let anyone fight because of me, my feet hurts, I'm mentally and physically exhausted but I went anyways, I saw Gemini standing in the room expressionless like he was in deep thoughts, while his parents and my parents were sitting on the big sofa in the living.

          I stopped P'Pond from arguing which was going nowhere, when I heard Gemini said something making everybody to look at him.

"I wanna marry Fourth.", I couldn't tell if what I heard was what he actually said.

"You wanna what? Are you out of your mind Norawit? What are you playing here, he's gonna be engaged to your cousin!", Gemini's father yelled at him.

"I'm not playing anything Paw, I helped Fourth to run away cause I can't let him marry P'Earth! I love him, beside you want a Titicharoenrak to marry him Khun Paw then it doesn't matter which one is it, right?!"

He asked my dad and even though I know he lied and said everything to help me but I don't know why It felt like he just healed something he never broke, he is risking his everything to help me out. I felt useless..
