Chapter 4

Fourth's POV

         I woke up with a piercing headache as last night flashed in front of my eyes like a nightmare. I got up and went to the bathroom, i looked in the mirror and my face was all stained with tears, my eyes were red and my lips were dry. I took a shower and went downstairs hoping that my parents are not there, but i was unlucky as always as they were waiting for me on the dining table.          I took a seat silently and greeted them shortly. As i was eating my father started the conversation which i hoped would just end after yesterday but it didn't. My father rambled on about how this is the only way i can live 'freely" which sounded impossible as always, how can one of the most richest man in Thailand can't protect his own son for the past sixteen years, i still didn't say anything. P'Pond angrily left the table and stormed out, P'Namtan just sighed and left as well leaving me at the table alone. I was going to leave but my father stopped me and tried... well not tried but to actually emotionally blackmail me, i felt defeated because i begged them to stop all of this marriage thing but they didn't care or listened to what i said. I don't have any option but to give up, what could go more wrong anyway? Life is already so unlucky so what is the reason to try?...

3rd Person's POV

          Fourth was crying sitting in his balcony when he heard a knock on the door, he told the person on the other side of the door to come in, he wiped his tears and got up from the chair in the balcony and walked into his room to see his mother standing with a bag of what seems to be clothes, hanging on her arm as she placed the bag on the bed and walked toward Fourth.

"Fourth, this is your outfit for today, dress up prettily for Mae okay na?" She said while placing her hand under Fourth's chin. Fourth didn't like everybody treating him like he was a little girl, he accepted that he might be pretty and all but all he was treated like a very precious thing but with no value at the same time.

"Why do i need to dress up, Mae?", Fourth said while walking toward the bag opening it to reveal a satin shirt with dress pants which were without a doubt very cute.

"Because your father invited your in-laws on dinner to meet you and since Earth's parents died long time ago, so his Uncle and his wife Ning are his guardians now.", she said and he felt a weird feeling in his stomach after hearing the word in-laws , he remembered Mae Ning and her husband who are his parent's best friends and neighbors next door.

"You mean Mae Ning? From next door?" He asked to confirm and she nodded.

            Titicharoenraks were their neighbors ever since his parents got married and moved to this society, they were his parents school friends and business partners as well. They also had a son, who was the same age as Fourth but he forgot about him almost completely as he was just six when he left Thailand.           Fourth was not happy with this arrangement but he knew that nothing could change his father's mind.
