Chapter 4// Cole

We had jut eating breakfast and the guys wouldn't leave me alone. Lloyd had a serious talk with me, that clearly had nothing to do with me, and was just about him and Harumi. Harumi, who had pretended to be in love with him, only to destroy him. Harumi, who broke his heart. He would never admit to me that he was talking about her, but I knew.

,,How could you go on a date with somebody you don't know at all? You don't know if you can trust her,, He had said.

I told him multiple times it wasn't a date. But I understand where he comes from. He was hurt by Harumi and has had trust issues ever since. He just wanna make sure none of us go through the same as he did.

Kai and Jay asked me for every detail. Kai even gave me dating tips. I would never take dating tips from him, so I just ignored him. But Jay was even more annoying. He did everything in his power to provoke me. ,,How was the date? Is she a good kisser? How did you score her?" Stuff like that. The most annoying questions.

I let go of my thoughts when Nya bursted through the door to my room. I had just found the clothes that I was gonna wear to the galla and was about to see how it would look. Since I had forgotten my shoes, I probably won't be very satisfied, but that's my own fault.

,,Hey Nya. What's up?" I asked her. She walked towards me and sat on the bed beside me.

,,Nothing much. Just making sure Kai and Jay weren't being too tough on you earlier." I laughed a little and shook my head.

,,It's quite alright. I teased Kai when he liked Skylor." She tilted her head a little and looked at me like she didnøt understand.

,,What?" I asked, a little confused.

,,So you like Chrissy?" She stands up and looks at me dead serious.

,,What? No. Why?" Of course I thought she was a pretty girl, but that doesn't necessarily mean I like her.

,,I just noticed something when we were eating dinner with them" She noted and walked a little closer. ,,You were looking a lot in her direction, and whenever she looked at you, you blushed"

My heart started to beat faster and harder in my chest. Yes, I think Chrissy is really pretty and she made me a little nervous, but I didn't think it was noticeable. My cheeks gets red and I quickly turn my head the other way, hoping Nya won't notice, but I know it's too late.

,,It's alright if you like her, Cole" She puts a hand on my shoulder and sends me a smile. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a second.

,,Can you promise me something?" I asked her. She nodded. ,,Don't tell anyone"

,,Okay" She said and gave my shoulder a squeeze.

The evening starts to get closer and the galla is starting soon. I stand in front of the mirror to assess whether I am satisfied with myself. I'm wearing a black suit with a black shirt underneath. I have tried to get my curls under control and push them back a little, but had to give up in the end. I little curl is hanging and gets in my eye, but it doesn't matter what I do, it won't cooperate with me.

I found my black tie and had a little fight with it, but once again, it doesn't matter what I do, it just won't do as I want it to. I'm a ninja. It's not like I need to wear a tie all the time. And no one has ever taught me how to tie a tie.

,,You need help with that?" A sweet voice startled me and I jumped away from the mirror and accidentally threw my tie on the floor. I looked in the direction of the voice and saw Chrissy, laughing. She's still wearing the pair of black jeans and the gray t-shirt she was wearing this morning.
