Finals were in session and we were a day away from the start of winter break. FINALLY.
"So, are you going anywhere for a break?" Zoe asked as she walked with me to the cafeteria.
"I'm going on a family trip to visit family friends in Australia," I replied as we made our way into the cafeteria, looking around for the rest of us.
"So we won't be able to see you during break?" Zoe pouted as she looked at me with sad puppy eyes. She was an adorable person.
"I might even miss a day after break," I said as I giggled at the expressions she was making.
"Aw man, I was hoping we could have a movie night or something with the other two," Zoe said as we took our usual seats at our table.
"Man that seems fun, I wanna have a-"
"YO WHAT THE FUCK WAS ENGLISH ABOUT, I DID NOT UNDERSTAND A SINGLE PROBLEM," Jihyun yelled as she plopped down on the empty spot next to Zoe. Zoe bursted out into laughter as Jihyun kept stressing about the test she had just taken.
"I don't think it was that bad, you just didn't review," I said as I laughed along with Zoe, who was now turning red from the lack of oxygen.
"I doN'T ThiNK it WaS thAT BAd my ass, you're just naturally smarter," Jihyun mocked my words as she rolled her eyes. Both Zoe and I laughed harder at her actions.
I looked behind Jihyun and saw Mia standing there, motioning me to keep quiet. I gently nodded as I stifled my laugh.
"JIHYUN," Mia suddenly yelled, catching not only Jihyun off guard but Zoe as well. Zoe had a hand over her chest, looking at Mia with wide eyes.
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT," Jihyun yelled back, annoyed by the sudden attack. Mia was laughing, banging the table with her hands, not breathing properly.
Mia settled down a bit, staring at something behind me as Jihyun kept complaining about how the day was so terrible. I just stared back at Mia, wondering what she was on. She nodded her head to me, pointing out something behind me. I turned around and flinched a bit when I saw Sunghoon right behind me, his hands in his pockets.
"Sunghoon? Do you need something?" I asked as I turned my whole body to face him. Jihyun had quieted down, being invested in whatever the two of us were talking about.
"Can you come to my games during the holiday?" he asked back as I gently shook my head.
"Sorry, I won't be able to make it. I'm going on a trip with my family," I replied, pouting a bit to indicate I was sorry for the inconvenience. He returned a small smile to me, nodding at my words.
"No worries princess, have fun though," he said, ruffling my hair and walking away, back to his friend group.
"I TOLD YOU HE LIKES YOU, HE LITERALLY RUFFLED YOUR HAIR," Jihyun whisper-yelled to make sure nobody else heard it other than the four of us.
"He does not," I replied as I gave her a side eye. This girl is never going to shut up about this now, will she?
"He does not my ass, he called you princess. Do you think he does that to every girl he sees?" Mia joined as she pointed out Sunghoon's words that were directed towards me.
"You never know," I replied, shrugging my shoulders as I received glares from the three girls.
"I hope I'm invited to your guys' wedding," Zoe chimed in, making me snap my head towards her direction, not this girl too.
"NOT YOU TOO, you guys aren't going to let go of it, will you?" I said, letting out a sigh of defeat.
"Nope, not until I see either of you get a partner or you guys start dating," Jihyun said as she stuffed her face full with the orange chicken.
I blankly stared at her as she munched on her food like nothing happened.

Sunghoon's POV
It was a lie if I said I wasn't disappointed that Aera couldn't make it to the games during the break. I looked forward to seeing her in my jacket, cheering for me.
Her long hair that was dyed a deep red, her eyes that showed so much emotion, the lips I stared at as she scolded me for causing another fight, and the small hands that grab me by my collar when I was in trouble, I loved every part of my life that I got to spend with her. Whenever she came to my games, I could always spot her out from the big crowd, not only because she was wearing my jersey, but also because it was the one face I longed to see.
I plopped down next to Jay, as I just stared at the rest of them eating and chatting.
"She can't make it?" Jay asked as he observed my face, was it that obvious?
"Nope, she's going on a family trip," I replied letting out a sigh as I pushed my hair back.
"Your so whipped dude, haven't seen you like this in the 17 years I've known you for," Jay commented as he placed his arm on my shoulder, giving me small pats on my head.
"You're such a lovesick puppy, it's fun to see you like this," Jake joined in on the teasing as he grabbed both sides of my cheek to squish it.
"I was going to ask her to hang out during the break, heck I even planned where to take her if she did say yes," I ranted to the boys, who were listening as a smile creeped at their faces.
"That's fucking adorable," Heeseung commented as he let out a low chuckle. I ruffled my hair out of frustration, not even giving a fuck to my messed up hair.
This girl had me going crazy.
