7:30 am
The school was filled with students, crowded around the bulletin board and poster scattered across the campus. There was a volleyball prep rally scheduled on Friday, it was going to be a fun back to school Friday. The rules were simple, make your own team and pay ten dollars for entry fee and abide by the game rules in volleyball. There was a prize of 300 dollars for the winning team.
I passed by all the students, getting into my first period. I could see Sunghoon's styled hair and wide shoulders, he was in his seat as he laid down on the table, seemingly taking a nap.
I quietly pulled out my seat and sat in it, looking at his face that looked so peaceful. The morning ray of sun was hitting his pale face, highlighting all his beautiful features. Few strands of hair were covering his face, brushing softly against his skin.
I reached out to his face, carefully removing the strands of hair blocking his face. Before I could place them to the side, his hand grabbed my hand, making my eyes grow wide.
His eyes were still shut, but his hands intertwined with mine, holding it down on the desk. I tried pulling my hand back but his grip was too tight for me to escape.
He wasn't bothered as he softly breathed, his head still placed carefully on his arm.
"Sunghoon,,," my voice was barely over a whisper as I called for him. He didn't respond, making me give up. I just held his hand as I turned my head to look out the window.
There were a few boys playing soccer in the field, others were talking with each other. I panicked when I saw the soccer ball fly towards a girl, faced away while she talked to her friends.
It hit her right on the head, knocking her off balance. Her friends helped her in shock as the boys ran over as they apologized. They were crouched over the girl, making sure she was okay.
A gentle smile had formed on my lips as I saw the girl nodding as she smiled, telling everyone that she was fine.
"Why are you smiling like that?"
Sunghoon's morning voice was deeper than usual as it snapped me out of my daydreaming. I turned my head to look at him, his face was leaning on his spare hand as his left hand was still intertwined with my hand.
"I was just watching them play soccer outside," I replied as I nudged my head towards the direction of the field.
I softly tugged my hand away, though I failed to get out his grip as he never loosened his grip.
"Hmm, are you coming to our game today?" he asked as he softly rubbed his thumb over my hand. Something clicked in me, wanting to tease him back.
"No, I'm not coming today," I lied, observing his reaction, which he didn't try to hide.
"What, why not?" he asked as he sat up straight, disappointment clear on his face. He looked like a puppy who's treat was taken away. I held back my smile as I continued my act, having made up my mind to not tell him the truth until the game.
"I'm kind of busy today," I simply replied, shrugging my shoulders.
His shoulders were down in disappointment as his grip on my hand had loosened. I took this as my chance to pull my sweaty hand out of his grip.
"You really can't come watch for like five minutes?" he asked, desperate for me to attend his game. I chuckled at his sad face, not what I expected from the badboy of the school.
"Really busy today, sorry," I replied as I faced the board, fixing my chair as the teacher started her lesson.
I could feel Sunghoon staring at me as I took out my supplies from my bag, acting as if I didn't care. He reached over as he stole a pen from my pencil case, not bothering to ask as he sulked.

The whole day Sunghoon was sulking over the fact that I wouldn't be able to make it to his game today.
After the last period, Sunghoon had found me and followed till my locker.
"You reaaaally can't come?" he asked, as I stopped at my locker, unlocking it, turning my head to him as I smiled.
"Sorry Mr. Park, but I've got stuff to do after school," I said, keeping up my act that I had this whole day. Not going to lie, it was hard to act for this long.
He pressed his lips in a thin line as he nodded in defeat. He was slightly slouched as he leaned on the locker next to mine.
Mia put her arms around me, as she greeted me. She glanced at Sunghoon and than towards me, not used to seeing Sunghoon at my locker.
"Hi Sunghoon, still sulking that Ms. President can't attend your game?" Mia joined in on teasing him, joy filled her face as she enjoyed the moment.
Sunghoon stood up straight, clearing his throat as he dusted his shirt.
"Who says I am," he replied as if he wasn't sulking a second ago.
Mia was stifling her laugh as I pressed my lips together to hold mine as well.
"I need to go to practice now, bye," Sunghoon abruptly said as he quickly made his way out of the building.
I looked over to Mia as we both erupted into laughter, not holding it back anymore.
"That dude is hilarious," Mia commented as I closed my locker door, double checking to make sure it was locked properly.
I chuckled at her remark as I could remember his face clearly, eyes that looked sad and a pouty mouth, he looked like soft bread.
We walked out the building, joining the two others before heading to my house to get ready for the hockey game.
