3:01 pm

I was at my locker, packing my books to head out of school for the day. Everyone was rushing out, going home, going to afterschool, going to hangouts with friends and what not. The hallways were still crowded, so I took my time to pack my bags, not wanting to be stuck with the crowd.

I got up as I zipped my bag, closing the locker door and I flinched as I found Sunghoon leaning on the locker next to mine, hand crossed in front of him.

"Shit, you scared me," I said as I placed my hand over my heart, which was beating a lot quicker now.

"Sorry, didn't mean to," he replied as he pushed himself off the locker. He looked genuinely sorry as I giggled at his worried face.

I put the lock on my locker, making sure it was secure before turning around to face Sunghoon again. He was now standing upright with his hands stuffed in his uniform pockets.

"So, can you make it to practice today?" he asked as he walked closer to me, softly tugging the hair that was stuck under my bag straps. His actions were making my heart beat faster and harder, at this rate he could probably hear it.

"Oh, right, completely forgot," I said as I let out a small chuckle, it had been a hectic first day back to school and as the President I had many things to do.

"I can make it," I said as I dug through the front pocket of my bag, looking for my phone. Shit, my shoelaces were untied.

I swung my bag back over my shoulder as I slowly bent down. Before I could bend down halfway, Sunghoon was on one knee in front of me, taking the loose shoelaces before tying them into a perfect bow.

"Do you double knot?" he asked as he tied my shoelaces.

"No, it's fine," I quickly replied as he dusted his hands before standing up.

"Thanks," I said with a small smile, looking around at the now empty hallways.

"Let's go," he said as he gently took hold of my wrist, leading me to the gym. I followed and admired his side profile, which was also so goddamn perfect.

It was silent but it didn't even feel a bit awkward. The bright sunlight kissed Sunghoon's skin, as he looked like he jumped out of a painting. His pointy nose and sharp jawline looked ethereal, gaining my undivided attention.

"Take a pic, it'll last longer," Sunghoon said, making me look away and I kid you not, my ears felt like it was burning. Thank god my hair was covering it.

Sunghoon just chuckled in amusement as we reached the gym. Holding the door so I could walk in first, he placed his spare hand on the top of my head.

"Hey!" I said as I shook my head. He laughed as he ruffled my hair.

"Take a seat inside, I need to change first," he said as he watched me walk into the bleachers. I looked back as he showed me a small smile, waving as he disappeared out of my sight.

There were a few players on the ice rink, warming up and playing around before practice started. I could recognize a few people, the team captain and Jake, and the Coach was leaning on the walls of the ice rink, talking to one of the players.

Jake seemed to notice me, a huge grin on his face as he waved his hand.

"WHERE IS SUNGHOON?" he yelled, probably assuming that I came with Sunghoon.

I simply shrugged in response but I could see a figure behind Jake, slowly creeping up to him. I hid my smile as I knew what he was trying to do. I was on it as well.

"HE SAID HE NEEDED TO CHANGE," I yelled back, trying to distract Jake from noticing Sunghoon's presence behind him.

Sunghoon was right behind Jake, and he was a bit taller than him, placing his hands abruptly on his shoulders. Jake flinched and lost balance on the ice, grabbing onto Sunghoon for support, eventually both tumbling onto the ice as they laughed.

"YOU TWO, GET READY FOR PRACTICE," the coach yelled at the two boys that were still sprawled out on the ice.

"Yes sir," Jake replied, still looking like a starfish on the ice.

Sunghoon got up first, ruffling his hair as he helped Jake up from the ground. They both had big smiles on their faces as they grabbed their headgears from the sides.

I was still sitting at the very back row of the bleachers as I watched the whole thing go down. Sunghoon looked up to where I was, lifting his hand and waving it at me, motioning me to come closer. I got up and went to sit in the first row, Sunghoon just widely smiled at me as he watched. Jake rammed into Sunghoon playfully, who in return glared at him.

"Did Sunghoon ask you to watch?" Jake asked, beaming at the two of us. I simply just nodded with a small smile, looking at the two of them. Sunghoon opened his mouth to say something before he got cut off.

"You two boys stop talking to the girl and get over here," the coach said as he sternly looked at the two, the rest of the team already huddled near the area. Jake mumbled a small 'see you later' as he made his way to the group.

"Are you cold?" Sunghoon asked, worried that I would get sick if I stayed cold.

"I'm okay, why? Worried for me, Park?" I replied as I teased him. He looked so good, the head gear, the jersey that was so perfect on him.

He just smiled at me without any words, probably forgetting that he had a practice to join.

"Sunghoon, stop being all loving with the president and join practice will you?" the Coach said as the rest of the team laughed at the remark. Sunghoon shook his head as he laughed along, waving at me before gliding over the ice to his spot, 'Park 23' imprinted on the back of his jersey.

I was stupidly smiling at the back of his jersey. Fuck.
