Andrianna was led by Natasha to the room where her mother was being interrogated. Natasha has requested a staff member, to let Andrianna talk to her mother. They had led her in after Ross granted them the permission. Currently she had two problems at hand, first, getting her mother to open up to her, and second telling Steve the truth about her interesting lineage.

The interrogation room was similar to the one's Andrianna had seen in various TV shows. Just as she entered her mother said, "You know your every action is being recorded, just in case."

"I know."

"You should leave. You won't get the answers you seek. Besides you are too young to handle the truth." Said Grace, which annoyed Andrianna, "Will you all just stop trying to control. No one knows better than me about what I can or cannot handle. And you weren't even there, when I needed you. You never came back. Must be happy getting rid of a burden."

Grace lost her calm at that, "You think you are a burden for me?"

"Yes! because that's how you have been behaving. If you were alive then you should have come to me first and foremost. But you didn't. I had to struggle to everything all alone. I was like an alien trying to fit in this world. But you don't care-"

"I do! I do care, Any. I couldn't come because I had to protect you." Grace stood up from the chair and walked in front of Andrianna trying to hug her and wipe her tears with her cuffed hands, but Andrianna pushed her away. "Any please. I love you. I never left you alone. I was there behind you every time you fell and then got back to your feet. I stayed by your side like your shadow, I wanted to be with you."

Grace cupped Andrianna's cheeks and continued, "But I couldn't. I'm sorry. It's a long story, I'll tell you when we meet next. But for now, you should not get yourself involved in this mess. Stay away from this mess. Please and just listen to Mr. Stark. He cares about you; I can see it in his eyes."

Andrianna looked at her mother, deeply trying to process her words, she knew she was acting like a spoiled teenager, but she couldn't help it. She removed her mother's hand from her face and took a step back. Furiously wiping her tears she said," You have to sign the accords. The authorities have seen you use your..." she waved her hand in a circle, "... your powers and now you belong to the government. You'll probably have to work for them, so... I wish you luck."

Grace was silent. They once shared a beautiful bond, but over the years of their separation it has weaken. She just looked at her daughter trying to capture her face in her heart forever. Grace had no idea about what was going to happen now, but one thing that she was sure of was that she would go to any length to protect her daughter, even as far as going against her.
