Chapter 10 (part 2)

Adheer took the phone from Eknoor after glancing at her; he realised it was 6 am, but why was his bhabhi ma calling him this early?

"Hello"

"Good morning, meerkat", Mythili wished him with an energetic tone, making him smile. Adheer actioned Eknoor to walk before replying to Mythili

"Very good morning, bhabhi ma"

He would have called her jangli billi only, but then, in front of Eknoor, he needed to show his respect towards her.

"Don't tell me this trip gives you some brain? If it is then I'm sending your bhai sa on such trip every month"

Adheer chuckled at her words and Said

"You think he would go? That man is obsessed"

"You should have let me know about him before my marriage. Anyways, tell me, what are you doing? I thought you ain't gonna answer my call cause of your priority"

Adheer was walking while Eknoor was just walking along with him. She is loving this.

She noticed how his eyes were alert, though he was on call; her heart skipped a beat when Adheer attacked that man for her when he took her in his protective arms.

She is falling more for him, hard and deeply.

"My priority can be my sleep, but sometimes it gets exceptions too."

Eknoor frowned at his words and paid attention to his talk this time

"I will tell your bhai sa that you were flirting with me"

"Yeah, go on, tell him if you want to see me black and blue, go and tell him. Also, I wasn't talking about you"

Adheer answered her but then thought, what does he mean? If it's not his bhabhi ma then what?

Eknoor's heart fluttered, red and felt a butterfly when the thought of her being the exception came across her mind.

But does any of them have the proper answer to that... No

"Why did you call so early today, bhabhi ma? How did bhai sa let you?"

"There is an exam centre in college and being a supervisor I have to present there earlier than thought to disturb you so that you can enjoy a few more hours instead of sleeping like a sloth"

Adheer rolled his eyes at her words when he felt Eknoor softly holding his hand intertwining their fingers with a smile looking at him.

She musters all her courage to reach out and take his hand, even though she knows he can be quick to anger.

As they walk side by side, the morning sun and gentle breeze create a sense of warmth in Adheer's presence.

All the troubles fade away as she basks in his company, finding solace and pure joy.

"This cherished moment holds a special place in my heart, and it will forever remain unforgettable."

She thought while showing a beautiful, shy smile to Adheer, who seemed to have lost his words, gazing at her smile.

A smile that makes his day. I don't know what happened that he suddenly felt so fresh and energetic.

Maybe cause her smile was genuine, with a mixture of her love and a hint of shyness. It feels so special when your heart smiles at someone so valuable.

"Hello! Adheer are you there?!!!" Mythili asked him to bring him back to the world

"Huh?! Ye-yeah... yeah bhabhi ma I will keep it in mind"
