Enforcers are everywhere.

No one in the underground of Zaun were safe. Everywhere you go there is havoc. People being tossed around for no reason as many were arrested on the spot for disrespect against an enforcer after being disrespected themselves. Many of the kids in Zaun were each kept indoors from orphans, single parents, and runaways.

Alot was going on, all because they need an example to make top side people of Piltover feel safe. But what about Zaun? The under city? The underground? The people that were casted out or not born from top side?

One side reaps the benefits of protection and wealth as the other suffers the cons of fear and poor...

Vander didn't realize one of his kids came up from behind him, his mind else where for many reasons, to which he felt a tug of his pant leg. He paused to look down. He finds it was (Y/N). Hair brush in hand and still in pajamas, yawning a bit while rubbing one tired eye. Managed to sneak around and behind the bar, impressing Vander from how well he didn't notice you coming for his aide.

"Hey there sweetie, did you sleep okay?"

Vander was more gentle and softer tone to (Y/N) and Powder. He found out those two were not fond of being yelled at or loud voices. Peace keepers over violence abusers. He easily pulled out a high chair to pick up his tired child to sit in. A small yawn escape as Vander went ahead and put that blue and gold cylinder away.

(E/C) eyes noticed it. The lady gave that to him. Yet said nothing about it as Vander returns with a bowl of berries and groanla, allowing you to eat breakfast as he took the brush. Untamed the tangled knots in your bed head (H/C) hair...

Little time was spent only for it to end by the door opening. Meaning someone waltz fight into the bar. Vander kept brushing your hair as you ate your food. Neither noticed who came inside.

"Welcome to The Last Drop."

The moment Vander stops brushing did your (E/C) eyes land on who waltz in. Enforcers. Four of them.

One walks up with two big buff guys behind him, the guy in front takes off his mask that released smoke, very much intimidating to you but not to Vander...

"What can I get ya?"

"Four sump rats would do." Your not sure who he was, but he recognized you, eyeing your form in a high chair "Maybe five, considering this sewer rat was there in that shop the other day. With you inside."

Vander wanted to say something not so nice about this guy. He really did. The customers that linger in The Last Drop got up instantly only to be shut down by Vander. All sat down to avoid conflict. They were all going to throw hands with these guys, even if they get sent away as an example.

"Search the place."

The enforcers did. Each walk about, in every cranny of every corner, to which leaves the guy with no gold mask here. Sitting at the bar with Vander and one of his kids.

"While your wasting your time, how about a proper drink."

"I'll take the strongest shit you got."

Vander in fact did have that. He leans down and grabs it, and under the table counter was a button, pressed it to whom alerts those below to hide. Quickly. Vander returns to fix him a glass. Just to return to brushing out you hair once more. Thinking about what to do now that is was fully clean from knots.

The whole time, as Vander did his best to do your hair for today, the enforcer sneaks a few peeks at the interaction. Back in Piltover, at home, he was a father of only single daughter. The mother, his wife, passed away not so long ago. He admits that fathering a child alone isn't easy. Many times he believes he failed as a father himself. But his daughter proved him otherwise. He was lucky to have her. So, so lucky..
