"Do you want ice cubes?" I heard her yell from the kitchen.
"Yess!" I shouted back.
I had made myself comfortable on the sofa, the TV was on in the background, and I was on my phone, probably doing what anyone else would be doing – stalking Travis on social media. Why am I doing this so late, you might wonder? Honestly, I don't know what's gotten into me. I'm asking myself the same question—why didn't I start sooner?
He doesn't have many followers, which makes sense since he's just a regular high school teacher and not someone in the public eye. He's posted a few pictures, some with his brother, and others with dogs. I noticed he also posts stories because I saw something from today's game.
"Here you go," suddenly, Selena appeared in my view, holding a glass of wine in front of my face.
"Thanks," I said, trying to calm down after the shock.
"You like him, don't you?" Selena said, looking at me with a teasing expression.
I stared at her, confused. "What? Who?"
"Come on, Travis!" she said, rolling her eyes. "Don't look at me like you don't know who I'm talking about."
"Yeah," I whispered. "I mean, he looks good, has a great personality, and I like his sense of humor. He knows how to treat women, and he puts in effort. I'm kind of obsessed with him."
Selena's laughter interrupted me. "Haha, I figured, girl. The stars in your eyes when you look at him say it all."
I blushed a little and playfully hit her arm. We talked a bit more about the latest gossip, but we both started getting sleepy.
"Babe, I'm going to bed. I'm tired, night!" I called out to Selena, who wished me goodnight in return.
I headed to the bathroom. I applied some lotion and then climbed into bed.
The next morning, I woke up as the sun shone through my window. I stretched out, feeling refreshed and ready for the day. The events of the previous day were still swirling around in my head, but I tried to push them aside. Travis... I couldn't stop thinking about him.
After getting up, I went to the bathroom to freshen up. Chose a casual outfit since it was going to be another hot day ,skirt and a light top.
When I walked into the kitchen, Selena was already sitting at the table, sipping her coffee. "Morning, babe," she said with a grin as she looked at me.
"Morning," I mumbled.
"So, any plans today? Maybe a date with a certain high school teacher?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
I couldn't help but smile.
"Good morning, beautiful, here's your coffee." Travis appeared in the classroom and handed me the coffee. I smiled at him, "Thanks."
I took a sip of the coffee, and it tasted a thousand times better because it came from Travis.
"How are you?" he asked and sat down across from me. "Pretty good, and you?" I asked. He nodded and said, "What do you think? I have the honor of going on a date tonight with the most beautiful woman on this planet." I blushed, and my eyes widened.
There was a knock at the door. "Good morning, can someone help me get the book from the shelf? I'm too short." Travis looked at me, and we both got up and followed Sophia into the history room. "Travis, can you help me? Will you lift me up to get the book?"
Travis walked up to her, placed his hands on her hips, and lifted her up. It was disgusting to watch how this slut was all over Travis. Her ass was in his face, and I couldn't even look without my anger rising. He set her back down on the floor, her cheeks bright red and her smile bigger than The Mount Everest.
