Travis POV:
The next morning, I woke up with my arm still around the blonde, who was peacefully sleeping beside me. Sunlight streamed through my window, illuminating the room. I stared at her, her tousled hair and her steady breathing. She is perfect.
For a moment, I just lay there, watching her sleep, feeling the warmth of her body pressed against mine. Her bare shoulder peeked out from under the sheets, glowing softly in the morning light. I couldn't help but smile. There was something almost surreal about it. the way she looked so peaceful, so effortlessly beautiful.
I gently brushed a strand of hair from her face, careful not to wake her. My fingers hovered over her cheek for a second longer than they should have, tracing the soft lines of her skin without touching her.
Suddenly, she stirred, shifting slightly under my arm. Her eyes fluttered open, and for a split second, she seemed disoriented before her gaze landed on me. A lazy smile crept across her face, and she snuggled closer, her head resting against my chest.
"Morning," she murmured, her voice husky and soft, still heavy with sleep.
"Morning," I whispered back, feeling my heart quicken in my chest. I couldn't help but lean down and press a soft kiss to her forehead. She sighed contentedly, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on my arm.
We lay there for a while, wrapped in the warmth of each other and the gentle silence of the morning. It felt like we were in our own little world, untouched by anything outside of this room.
But eventually, reality began to creep back in. I could feel the day waiting for us beyond the walls. She shifted again, this time sitting up slightly, the sheets slipping down to reveal more of her bare skin. Her eyes met mine, a playful glint shining through the lingering sleepiness.
"No matter how much I want to keep lying here, the lesson would start soon, and we couldn't be late." I nodded understandingly, "Okay, get ready, and then we'll head out. I'll grab a sweater for you." She smiled and then disappeared into the bathroom.
I got ready myself, packed my things, and prepared for the day. Now, I'm rummaging through my closet, looking for a sweater that might fit her. I found a black one, which I think will go with her skirt. I went to the bathroom and knocked gently on the door. "Come in," I heard her say. I opened the door, and there she stood. I stood there motionless for a moment, my breath caught as my eyes swept over her. She was standing in front of me, wearing only a bra and a skirt, her bare skin glowing softly in the dim light. A warm tingling sensation ran through me, and my pulse quickened.
"Here's a sweater. If it's too thin, I'll find a thicker one. Just let me know," I said and was about to leave when she called, "Travis?"
"Yes?" I said, turning back around, looking exclusively into her eyes.
Taylor took a step toward me and placed her hands around my neck. Our bodies were pressed together, and I gently placed my hands on her hips. I could feel her warmth, and then she kissed me. It wasn't a wild or passionate kiss. it was a grateful one, filled with promises. We pulled away.
"Thank you," she said, looking at me with sparkling eyes.
"You're welcome, princess," I said as we let go of each other. "Hurry up, we're leaving soon," I added before going into the living room to check my phone. I had received a message. I didn't even notice because I was so focused on Taylor yesterday. It was from Sophie. Oh no, Taylor would kill me if she knew Sophie had written to me. I opened her message and read it.it left me amazed.
S: "Travis, you don't have to pretend that you like her. We both know that I'm the one you like more. Don't fool yourself, she's not good for you."
T: "Actually, Sophie, I do like her. And I used to like you too, until now. Stop talking about her like that. I always thought you were nicer. I don't want to hear a single bad word about her from you again. I hope we understand each other."
I set my phone aside because I heard footsteps.
"Do you think the other students will notice that this sweater isn't mine?" she asked as she entered the room.
I shook my head and stood up from the couch, walking toward her. "No, they won't, because you look beautiful in it." She blushed slightly.
"Okay, let's go, we're late. Don't forget anything. take everything that's yours," I said to her, and she grabbed my arm.
"Well, I've already got what's mine," she said.
I really love this woman. I kissed her forehead because I couldn't believe it. She grabbed her bag, and we both went out to the car, heading off to school.
Taylors POV:
"Good morning, Miss Swift," all the students said in unison.
"Good morning," I replied. "As you all know, today is our final project day. I hope you've enjoyed the week, and I'd like to go over everything. I'll be handing out some feedback forms that you can fill out. While you're working on that, I'll head over to the principal's office, as there are still a few things to discuss. During my absence, Mr. Kelce will take over for me. I hope you were all listening and understood your task."
I handed out the papers and made my way to the principal's office. An idea had been on my mind for two days now, one I had been thinking about a lot but had never spoken to anyone about. But now that it's my last day, it's time to bring it up.
I reached the end of the hallway and stood in front of the office door. I knocked.
