"𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐈?" tylan cheered, a smile playing on his face as he shook lilis shoulders. she laughed and swatted his hands away.

it was finally the day for her game night and she couldn't be more excited. she had been up all day planning and decorating. the planned time was 6 and as the time got closer she couldn't contain herself.

but she couldn't help to feel a tad bit nervous, no one texted her and in the back of her mind she had this burning thought of being left for dead.

the front door opened and lili snapped her head over to see who it was. her mom walked inside with grocery bags in her hands.

she noticed the jumpy attitude lili had and looked around, "no one here yet?" she asked with a slight frown.

lili shook her head with a sigh, tylan stood up from his seat and walked over to help leahna. "maybe it's just traffic, you know it's rush hour"

"yeah i hope," lili mumbled glancing down at her phone impatiently. leahna and tylan put the bags down and started to put the things away.

"if no one shows up by seven remember what i told you," leahna said calmly, not lifting her eyes from the bags in front of her.

anuli hummed and nodded her head, she hoped she didn't have to remember what her mom has said but it was looking as if she would.

time passed and lili sat on the couch staring at the black tv screen, it was now closing in on 6:30 and no one had came yet. not even a call.

she ate some of the popcorn from the bowl and shook her head.

"ion even know why i thought they would come," she muttered to herself standing to her feet and walking over to the stairs.

just as she went to go up there was a knock on the door. she rolled her eyes and walked over, the neighbors kids had been doing ding dong ditch all night and she figured it was just them again.
