𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓 party drama and whatnot, Lili woke up today without it on her mind. That was because the very first home football game of the season was today and that was her main priority as a cheerleader.
The first few games of the season were all away games and there was no home opener. So Anuli knew she had to make today count, just like the many other days.
Lili walked around the school with no sense of urgency, normally she'd be excited running around to get everything in check but she was just so tired that her energy just faltered throughout the day.
She was late to a few classes but she honestly didn't care about it, she wanted to stay home but there was a game today and she couldn't risk it.
She was going to her last class of the day that she shared with jay, she wanted to talk to him about the football game because she wanted to know if he was going.
She was going to ask him for a ride home because she didn't drive to school today. Her car started acting weird so her dad took it to get fixed and her mom dropped her off.
Her mom was going to be busy when the game was over and her dad was going to be just getting back from work.
So it's best to ask someone at the school for a ride.
As she approached the classroom, Lili spotted Jay at his usual spot near the back. He was leaning back in his chair, headphones in, on his phone typing away.
She slid into her seat next to him, setting her bag down with a soft thud.
"Hey, jay?" she called out, nudging him gently with her elbow.
He looked up and nodded his head at her, his eyes looked her up and down before stopping at her eyes, "you good? You look dead"
She chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Thank you so much, that's what every girl wants to hear."
