𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐒 quiet, anuli being sleep and leahna spent her morning putting puzzles together. tylan was at work—like he always is.
anuli had been out the entire night before with malai doing things around the city, it was fun to say the least but lili had been sleep since arriving home.
leahna and tylan were glad to see her being outside and having fun instead of forcing herself to be so focused on school work and friends.
there was a soft knock on the front door causing leahna to stand from her spot at the couch and walk over.
once she opened the door she saw Jay standing there with his hands in his sweater.
"oh hey jay, how have you been?" leahna asked, smiling brightly at the boy.
jay smiled back and shrugged his shoulders, "stayin out the way ms leahna, makin money, you?"
"same stuff i've been doing, just a tad bit more legal work," leahna waved off, stepping out the way to let the younger boy in.
jay walked in and immediately went to the couch, sitting down and swinging the backpack that was on his back onto the floor.
"is lili awake? i gotta talk to her," he questioned softly glancing over at leahna.
leahna twisted her lips and shrugged her shoulders, "yknow what, i don't know. let me go check"
jay nodded and watched as she left the room going up the stairs and transcending into the light. the boy had been off the radar for damn near weeks and literally no one knew where he was at.
not even his own family.
leahna opened the door to lili's room and saw her sprawled out on the bed. it was kind of confusing to see if she was still sleep or awake.
