Chapter #8

WARNING: Mention of Murder, Angst, Remus being Remus, and Wholesome

Janus's POV: I groaned and went over to the couch and sat down annoyed I was sitting on the couch and looked over at Remus. "We agreed that you would stop killing people," I said while Remus was wiping blood off his mace with a paper towel. "I am sorry Double Dee. It's the only thing that helps me take my anger out besides snapping at someone with my anger towards you." Remus said, causing me to get up from the couch and walk over to him and I sat on the floor in front of him. "It's about your brother, isn't it?" I said trying to read Remus's body language and facial expressions. "Do you want me to have Emile come by so you can talk about it?" I said making Remus look at me by moving his chin up with my thumb and pointer finger.

Remus's POV: "No. I don't want to talk about it." I said and moved closer to Janus and laid down resting my head in Janus's lap. I could feel Janus messing with my hair mostly because he knows it helps me relax and calm down. "I have things to do so when I am done, I will make us some lunch and we can cuddle on the couch if you like," Janus said, and I sat up. "Okay," I said and got off the floor grabbed my mace went upstairs to my room and put my mace in my closet then exited my room headed back downstairs grabbed the TV remote and sat on the couch turning the TV on. I watched Janus go upstairs and shortly I heard the washer being turned on which gave me the impression that Janus was doing Laundry.

Janus's POV: I grabbed mine and Remus's basket of laundry and yes, I do Remus's laundry for him I turned the washer on adjusting the load size and the spin and after I finished with that, I was shorting my clothes from black clothing to white clothing, and then color clothing. I loud my black clothing into the washer first and started the washer and then headed downstairs to work on getting the kitchen cleaned while I was waiting for the first load of clothes to be done. "What are you doing now Double Dee?" Remus asked looking over at me. "Going to start cleaning the kitchen while I am waiting for the washer to be done," I said answering Remus's question and walked into the kitchen and went under the sink grabbing a sponge and cleaner which I sprayed the cleaner on the kitchen counter, and kitchen island.

Remus's POV: Do you want some help, Double Dee?" I asked looking towards the direction of the kitchen. "No. I got it Mus. But thank you." Janus said hollering from the kitchen. I turned back to the TV and turned on Silence. I watched Silence for about 30 minutes before I heard the washer go off upstairs. "Double Dee the washer is done!" I said still looking at the TV. "Okay!' Janus said and walked out of the kitchen and headed upstairs to switch out the clothes with another load and put the clothes that were washed into the dryer. I soon heard the dryer going and then the washer and I am not sure how many louds Janus is going to be doing today since he does both of our laundry. Janus came back down the stairs and went back into the kitchen to continue cleaning.

Janus's POV: I was scrubbing down the stovetop and when I am done with that I am going to sweep and then mop the kitchen floor. I think it took me 30 minutes to clean the stovetop and finish sweeping the floor now I just need to mop the floor and then I have finished cleaning the kitchen. "Double Dee, are you sure that you don't need help with anything?" Remus asked walking into the kitchen. I Looked over at Remus who was standing by the kitchen entrance. "Yeah, I sure mus. Why?" I said answering Remus and asking Remus. "Just do like seeing you doing everything yourself and you hardly give yourself a break you clean the house like every day. It makes me upset when you are overworking yourself sometimes." Remus said walking over to me and then hugged me from behind. "I don't clean that much! Do I?" I said now thinking to myself about if I have been cleaning a lot which I have been lately I don't know why I haven't noticed before. "What do you still need to do Double Dee?" Remus asked making me look at him. "A few more loads of laundry and putting my clothes away. Mop the kitchen floor and then I was going to plan something for me and you for a video the Light Sides are planning." I said resting against Remus's chest.

Remus's POV: "Well how about this Double Dee I help with laundry, and you can mop the kitchen floor and leave the planning another day." I said holding Janus close in my arms. "Okay but wait for me to finish mopping the kitchen floor so I can show you how to use the washer and dryer," Janus said while walking away and grabbing the mop to mop the floor. "Okay, I was going to that anyways," I said, and I left the kitchen and went upstairs and waited for Janus. I soon heard Janus come up the stairs which I think I was only waiting for 25 minutes. "Alright since the dryer is done and the washer still going, I will show you how to work the dryer then," Janus said while opening the dryer door taking the dry clothes out of it and putting them into his laundry basket. "So, with the dryer, you don't need to change any of the settings, but you can if you want. But I don't think I will have you change anything so you will just hold your finger on the power button and then you will turn this knob to any of these options so for clothes I normally to quickly dry. Towels I do normal and for the bedding as in bed covers, I do the bedding." Janus said while he was pointing at the options he listed.

Janus's POV: "You understand what I am saying so for?" I asked turning my head and looking at Remus who nodded in response. "Okay, and this thing right here after every load you need to pull this out and it opens like this, and you have to take out the lint that is in here otherwise it just going to keep adding to it and then it can break the dryer if you are not cleaning the lint out of here. And when you're done with that you can close it and put it back in and start another load of clothes that you might need to dry." I said while showing Remus how to clean out the lint from the dryer. "Oh, and for each option you pick on the dryer some of them might take longer like the bedding option that takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes cause some things take longer to dry," I said closing the dryer door.

Remus's POV: I made sure to remember everything Janus said and went over, and I even went over them again with Janus in case I forgot something. "So, I only use the bedding one if I am drying my bed cover, right?" I asked looking at Janus who nodded. "Good! You remembered everything! And I will have you dry the clothes, okay? I do the washer cause the washer because you have some more steps to do with the washer and there is a lot to go over with the washer so we will go over it some other time alright?" Janus said as the washer went off because it was done, and Janus took the clothes out and put them in the dry. I turned the dryer on switched it to quick dry and pressed start. "Did I do it right?" I asked and Janus nodded his head, and I smiled.
