AN: Hi uh so apparently some people have read/are reading this. Thank you so much you have no idea how much this means to me. Just to clarify in case anyone is wondering, this book is mainly set in India but there will definitely be people of other races and religions. Here's the book then

Edit: So sorry I accidentally posted a repeat chapter :)

"Ash..." I trailed off, not sure what to say. At that moment, he looked so broken, so unlike my friend. "Don't your brothers care about you though? And aunt Capricorn? What about my mother, Lexi and Lakshmi?" His form went rigid as I mentioned my older sister, but stayed silent as I continued, "They have barely moved on from our fathers' loss, and they wouldn't be able to handle losing us. Besides, they'd blame themselves, and our fathers would give anything to undo it. We can't Ashwini. We can't" He averted his eyes but nodded. "It's hard to move on though," he mumbled. "I know, but with time we'll get over it, you and me alright?"

"Okay." He said. "Okay." Suddenly, a slightly sad smile graced his face. "Now let's do what we came here for" he decided, as I nodded and we entered the infamously dangerous, "Home of the Devil", Dystopia woods.

Short chapter, but I had to build suspense sorry!
