Jungkook hesitated just outside Taehyung's door, the early morning light filtering through the cracks of the hallway. The cup of coffee he held felt warm in his hands, yet his heart fluttered with nervousness as if he were about to do something forbidden. The omega glanced around, ensuring no one was around before gently nudging the door open with his foot.

The familiar scent of Taehyung's room enveloped him immediately-rich and comforting, tinged with a hint of musk that always made Jungkook feel safe. He took a step inside, his actions deliberate, each movement careful as if trying not to disturb the peace of the early hour. The room was still dim, the soft glow from the morning sun barely illuminating the dark wood furniture and heavy curtains. Taehyung was still in bed, lying on his side with the sheets loosely draped over his body. His eyes were closed, his breathing slow and even, but Jungkook knew better. The alpha was awake, and he was waiting.

With a soft exhale, Jungkook tiptoed closer to the nightstand, intent on setting the coffee down and slipping away quietly, just as he had done so many mornings before. But this time, as he reached the side of the bed, a strong hand shot out, gripping his arm firmly yet tenderly. Startled, the omega nearly dropped the cup.

"Tae!" he whispered shouted urgently, his voice a mix of surprise and scolding. "At least let me place the coffee on the table first!"

Taehyung chuckled, a deep, rich sound that sent a shiver down Jungkook's spine. He pulled the omega closer, his fingers still wrapped around his wrist. The bed creaked softly under their weight as Jungkook stumbled, trying to balance the cup and resist Taehyung's insistent tug.

"Why are you so stubborn?" Jungkook whispered, his voice trembling slightly, more from the proximity than anything else. His heart pounded as he glanced around the room, anxiety creeping into his thoughts. "What if someone had seen me this early?"

The alpha's eyes opened fully, the mischievous gleam in them undeniable. He loosened his grip slightly but didn't let go, his thumb brushing over the inside of Jungkook's wrist in soothing circles. "Let them see," Taehyung replied casually, his voice husky from sleep. "I was just calling my husband, to our room."

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat at the words, but he quickly masked his reaction, turning around to glare at him. The omega's pink lips parted to retort, but the sight of Taehyung's disheveled hair and sleepy eyes made his words falter. The alpha was so effortlessly beautiful, even in the early morning light.

"You're beyond help," Jungkook muttered, shaking his head as he tried to pull away, but Taehyung's grip tightened slightly. He managed to set the cup down on the nightstand before turning back to Taehyung, exasperation coloring his expression.

"And what kind of request is that?" The omega threw his hands in the air, tried to look angry but he only appeared more adorable to the alpha's sight "That you only want to see my face as the first thing in the morning? I swear you'll get me killed someday"

Taehyung clicked his tongue, a playful smile tugging at his lips as he shook his head. "Why are you so afraid, cara mia?" he asked softly, his voice holding a serious note beneath the teasing. He released the omega's wrist but only to snake his arm around his waist, pulling him closer until their bodies were flush against each other. "Mhmm?"

Jungkook squirmed, his gaze dropping to the alpha's chest, his fingers brushing against the soft fabric of Taehyung's shirt as he spoke. "I'm not afraid," he whispered, though the shakiness in his voice betrayed him. "I just... care about both of our honor."

Taehyung's playful demeanor softened as he tilted his head, his expression growing more serious. He gently lifted Jungkook's chin, forcing him to meet his gaze. "Aren't you my honor?" Taehyung asked, his voice a low, earnest murmur.
