Pardon my pardon
For our days apart time will harden
Beg and beg I beg and beg for another night holding your leg
I know it will not come but still I begMadness through sadness
Loneliness forcing gladness
Yet longing continues creating more sadness
And the cycle continues with my soul clinging to your green eyes in this madnessYour lilies have all wilted and died
Your grounds dried, the magnolia cried then died
Now only purple hyacinth grows
