"I hope that you understand my reason, and this hope doesn't end up being just a wish."
"Where is Felix? I haven't seen him since evening," Minho said in a concerned voice, his eyes gazing around to see any signs of the blond-haired boy.
"Hyunjin has gone to search for him. Don't worry; they will return," Han replied in a calm voice, gently patting his partner's shoulder in a comforting manner.
"But Han, what is taking them so long? You should have told Felix not to roam in the forest alone. We need to take care of the members' safety!" Minho stated loudly, pinching the bridge of his nose to ease his mind.
"Minho, shut the fuck up! You're hurting my ears, and Felix can protect himself; he is trained by Hyunjin, after all," I.N. exclaimed in an annoyed tone, his head pounding heavily from the argument between the two males in front of him.
"But-"
"OH, look! They are coming! I told you not to stress out without any reason, but wait, why is he carrying Felix?" I.N. told Minho and Han, who glanced back and saw the dull figure of a male with bright-colored hair-Hyunjin-holding the tall and lean figure of Felix in his strong arms as he walked in their direction.
The three males hurriedly ran toward Hyunjin, their faces full of panic as they glanced at the unconscious figure of Felix. "Hyunjin, what happened? Why are you carrying Felix? Is he fine?" Minho inquired from Hyunjin, who confusingly stared at them.
"Yes, bu-"
"Fuck! What happened to Felix? I think a venomous snake must have bitten him! See, his lips are so bruised and red, but wait, snake venom turns your lips blue, right? B-"
"I.N., could you please let Hyunjin explain and not give your useless explanations?" Han scolded I.N., who was squealing in fear while Hyunjin just stood beside him, shooting threatening glares at I.N..
"First of all, nothing has happened to Kitten, and he is fine. He was just dozing off near the waterfall, which is a few meters away from this place, and I carried him here! Now let me keep him inside the tent," Hyunjin explained hastily before walking toward one of the tents, leaving the three males behind.
Hyunjin made his way inside the tent, gently placing Felix on the ground. He wrapped a cozy blanket around the sleeping male, resting his head on the pile of clothes laying beside him. Hyunjin finally let out a sigh of relief and glanced at the blond-haired male peacefully sleeping in front of him, his lips curling up into a gentle smile.
"I hope we end this mission safely," Hyunjin whispered to himself before placing a gentle peck on Felix's forehead, his hands ruffling the strands of Felix's hair in a protective manner. Hyunjin finally stood up, advancing his steps outside the tent but was met by Minho, who carried a serious look on his face.
"You should be inside your tent and not spying on me, Minho," Hyunjin stated nonchalantly, trying his best to hold back his nervousness as he realized what the purple-haired male might have seen.
"Hyunjin, everyone knows that there is something going on between Felix and you. At least tell me what's the matter," Minho remarked in a demanding tone, his eyes glaring at Hyunjin, who averted his gaze from the younger male.
"Minho, I am really tired. Let's talk tomorrow," Hyunjin replied in a cold voice, ignoring the older's observant gaze fixed on him.
"But Hyun-"
"Minho, please," Hyunjin declared in a bold voice and finally moved away out of the tent, leaving Minho behind, who let out a sigh of defeat and walked out of the tent as well.
"There is a heated conversation going on-something related to Felix and Hyunjin!" I.N. whispered to Han, who was standing next to him, his eyes glued inside the tent as he stealthily peeked inside, earning a hard smack from Han, who annoyingly remarked, "I.N., let them talk! And why the hell are you peeking inside?"
"Shit! Shit! He is coming!" I.N. stated hastily, and both of the males hid behind the tent as Hyunjin marched out, followed by Minho, whose path was blocked by I.N..
"Now, tell me, has Hyunjin confessed that there is something going on between the two? Please!" I.N. cheered loudly as he held Minho tightly in his grasp.
"I.N., stop being so enthusiastic and reckless like a child. He said he will talk about this later," Minho replied in a sadistic tone, earning a whine from I.N., who said, "No! Why? Hyunjin is intriguing! Why doesn't he just accept that he likes Felix and end the confusion?"
"I.N., please, I beg you! Don't rush things so much. Felix and Hyunjin have just started understanding each other. I don't know what happened between them, but if Hyunjin is not comfortable telling us, we should give them time," Han pleaded in front of I.N., who finally released Minho from his grasp, letting out a deep sigh.
"Good. Please don't make things awkward; you know we have a whole mission ahead of us. Let's sleep now," Minho stated in an exhausted voice, rubbing his eyes before making his way toward the tent, followed by the two males.
He laid on one of the corners of the tent, wrapping a thin blanket around him and resting his head on the ground.
"Hyunjin is still a terrible liar," Minho whispered to himself, a slight grin spreading across his face as he finally drifted off to sleep.
