? Opened her eyes. Who was she? Where was this? A strange place, but familiar all at the same time. She didn't have any arms or legs. Or a tail and wings. How did she know she had a tail and wings?
It didn't matter. All that mattered was she thought she had them, so she must have them. Her wings were supposed to have thin butterfly-like blades, and her tail was supposed to be skinny and have a barbed stinger on it. But, she had to wait. She was still too small. Then a warm and soothing voice spoke into the silence of her thoughts. "What should we name her, Blue?" A purple eyed drone asked a murder drone.
"Hmm. I don't know, Violet. You should name her." the blue eyed drone swished his thin, black tail around thoughtfully, and opened his bladed wings up. ? looked at the one with the wings and tail. She was supposed to look like that. Not blue, but with those wings. And that tail.
"I." Violet looked at the blue one who said it. "That is a good name, but she might not like just one letter. How about Indigo?" Blue smiled and wagged his tail slightly. "I love it! Welcome to this world, Indigo."
Indigo. She liked that. Content to know she was the daughter of a murder drone, which means she could at least have wings, she decided to fall asleep. But... What is my mother?
