My heart is shattered,
Into a million pieces,
I'm trying to put it back together,
But the pain just never ceases.
Every time I try to move on,
The memories come flooding back,
And I'm left with nothing but pain,
And a heart that's under attack.
I don't know how to fix it,
Or how to make the hurt go away,
But I know that I can't give up,
And I'll fight through it every day.
One day I'll find the strength,
To pick up the pieces once more,
And maybe then I'll finally heal,
And my heart won't be so sore.
My heart is shattered into pieces,
Torn apart by the pain of goodbye,
Every beat feels like a thousand needles,
Piercing through my soul as I try to deny.
The love we shared was once so pure,
But now it's all gone and faded away,
Leaving me drowning in memories so blur,
Left with nothing but pain and dismay
I thought we'd last forever,
But forever was just a lie,
And now I'm left to face the truth,
That you're no longer by my side.
The memories we made together,
Are now a painful reminder of the past,
A time when we were happy and in love,
But now it's all gone, and it's hitting me fast.
I miss your touch, your warmth, your smile,
But most of all,
I miss your love,
And the thought of life without you,
Is something I'm not ready to think of.
I know I must move on and heal,
But it feels like an impossible task,
To forget the love we shared,
And let go of the past.
So I'll cry my tears and mourn my loss,
And hold onto the memories we made,
Hoping that one day, the pain will fade,
And I'll find love again, unafraid.
