Leang and Nunew had a heart to heart talk that night.
After his good cry that morning, he felt that he is now ready to tell everything to his uncle. As expected, he again cried what seems like a river narrating how Zee and he met, how he tried to avoid the guy and up to the time that happened leading him to where he is now.
His uncle has been a good listener all throughout that night. Not asking a single question until Nunew finishes sharing him his story, after he calms down.
Leang would also rub his nephew's back whenever he feels like he has trouble continuing to talk then hugs Nunew to comfort him each time.
Then he would give Nunew some water from time to time as breaks from his sobbing. Nunew is just so thankful that he went to the right place during his most vulnerable time.
After Nunew finishes talking, Leang hugged him one more time. This time tighter while rubbing his back.
"Thank you for telling me what happened to you. It was not easy for sure, and you did a good job for being so brave tonight. Nhu, by opening yourself to others it's like being naked to that person, showing them your weakest and most helpless state. It can be scary at first but once you do that, it can also be the most liberating feeling ever. I am sure you are feeling lighter and better now which will help you decide what to do next." Leang told Nunew.
"But Lung, I am still not sure what shall I do next." Nunew answered with sadness.
"Take your time Nhu, no one can force you to make any decision now. What matters is you are starting to acknowledge your pain and is opening to us. That is already a big step towards healing yourself." Leang comforted Nunew.
Nunew nods, he feels really blessed to have a supporting and loving uncle.
"But Nhu, you should know too that sooner or later you needed to face Zee. You need to talk to him and hear his side of the story. Whether you will forgive him or end your relationship with him is totally up to you but if you want a closure and for your own good, you need to talk to him eventually." Leang concluded.
Nunew breathes deeply, he is aware of this too. Now that his mind is clearer, he knows that sooner or later he needs to talk to Zee. He is just not sure when, but he is certain that he'd like to face him even for the last time.
He doesn't want to see him yet though, not anytime soon.
Not because he doesn't want to face his pain and bare himself to Zee by going through his emotions again, but Nunew is more scared of losing Zee.
He loves the guy so damn much that he already envisions his future with him.
What if Zee is just playing around and messing with Nunew's feelings? What if that girl that Nunew saw was his real girlfriend and decided to leave Nunew?
Nunew touches his heart when these thoughts flooded his mind. He felt being stab with pain all over again with those reflections.
He will never be ready if he loses Zee.
Next morning was better for Nunew, he decided to help in the resort which he does whenever he visits.
He welcomes customers who dines in the restaurant, asked for their orders and even serves the food. He would also clean up the table after customer leaves which leaves the staff rubbing their neck feeling ashamed that someone else is doing their job.
But Leang tells them to let Nunew be for he knows this is what Nunew needed. He needs to move and slowly get back to his routines. He knows that soon, Nunew will decide to go back to the city and face Zee and his pain.
