Chapter 10 - Remembering your Ghosts

Zee's POV

After their memorable trip in Pattaya, Zee is now back at his office.

He is walking to his office, but he feels like he is gliding.

He feels like he has never been this genuinely happy and it is all because of Nunew who is now his boyfriend, officially.

Poppy noticed the different aura on him as soon as he sees him.

"Good morning Mr Panich, you seem to be in a very good mood as I see you smiling while walking here" Poppy asked while smiling too.

"Am I? I'm just in my usual self, Poppy" Zee answered and straightened his face.

"As you say Mr Panich" Poppy said while grinning.

Poppy has been working with Zee for five years now which made him know Zee when he is happy, mad or bothered with something.

He has a huge respect and admiration for his boss, knowing all the struggles he went through as he builds up his name and his own business.

They've been through a lot over those five years and what made Poppy loyal to his boss aside from his passion and dedication to his business is he would always treat his employees fair and with care.

One time, Poppy's dad got sick and hospitalized. Zee made sure to help with the hospital expenses and even called the hospital to upgrade his father's room.

Of course, when the hospital found out that they know one of the Panichs, the whole hospital treated Poppy's father and family as VIPs.

Zee would also send Poppy's mother a bouquet of flowers for every occasion like her Birthday, Valentines, Mother's Day and Christmas after Zee found out that she started showing signs of dementia and that she seems to remember Zee as his son's handsome boss.

And those flowers always give pure happiness to Poppy's mother that she would always tell him not to ever leave Zee or else she will cut him out of their family.

So yes, Poppy knows his boss very well and he is certain that someone is making him beam with smile nowadays and he might just know who it is too.

Zee went inside of his big office then sits on his chair to start his work.

First, he opened his laptop to check his emails.

Poppy knocks on the door and hands him all the paper works he needed to sign which is a daily morning routine of them.

Then he explained something on some more important documents which made Zee focus his attention to him when suddenly his phone rang.

He saw the name on his phone, and he decided to ignore it.

"Sir, Miss Janis has been calling my direct line since last week asking where you are as you seem avoiding her" Poppy interrupted when he noticed the name on Zee's phone.

"Tell her to stop calling you or me. I got nothing to say to her" Zee told Poppy sounded cold and unbothered.

"Yes Sir, will do" Poppy replied.

He then continued to discuss the rest of the documents to Zee and once done left it on his table for him to sign later.

Janis has been calling him day and night for a few days now and Zee knows that she won't stop until he talks to her.

So, after a few days of ignoring his call, he finally answers.

"My God, at last you picked my call!" Janis said.
