Nunew together with Nat owns two branches of "Café in the City" within Bangkok, their 1st branch is in Siam and the 2nd branch in Ratchaprasong which are both central shopping district locations.
Nunew is more on the management side of the business overseeing the Financials, creating a business plan, managing finances etc while Nat in charge of operations such as monitoring day to day tasks, customer relations, menu crafting, staff management etc
But they do collaborate with each other and always helping one another in case of issues and problems.
That's why Nunew never regretted that he asked Nat to partner with him on this business and they are thriving.
They have a great vision of their business and are now in the process of opening their 3rd branch this time located in Si Lom Road, which is a major street in Bangkok, best known for its commercial neighborhood.
And this is basically the reason why they are putting a branch here. The other two branches are within shopping districts, they want to cater to a different set of customers to make the business more stable and flexible.
Nunew is on his way to check the progress in the new shop which is still undergoing last minute finishings and arrangements.
Afterwards, together with Nat they will visit the few buildings near the shop and give out flyers as invitation for their opening day.
It feels like a very exciting and productive day, Nunew can feel it through his veins.
He reached the new shop and greeted Nat who is already there.
"Hi Nat! Good morning! How's everything?" he asked.
"Hi Nunew! Everything is fine, I am just checking some things here in the counter" Nat answered.
"How's your day so far?"
" Nothing grand so far but I am thankful that yesterday's dinner with my parents went fine. So far, no new blind dates being scheduled yet so that's a good thing!" Nunew said.
"Ohh that is indeed great! Hope they won't find anyone new in the next 10 years!" Nat spoke.
"I wish for that too Nat, thank you!" Nunew expressed.
After lunch time, Nunew and Nat prepared themselves by getting all the flyers they need and proceeded to their next agenda which is to visit nearby offices.
They were on their way to the third building they will visit when Nunew got a call from Yim.
"Hi Nunew! I'm calling to let you that my cousin will meet you at the lobby of Panich building. He works there and was able to arrange a permit so you can get in and give away the flyers in their pantry area. His name is Max." Nunew heard from Yim.
"What? Since when did you organise this? Is it okay with your cousin because we don't want to be a bother to anyone." Nunew explained.
"It is not a bother, and this is the least that I could do to help you guys with the new branch. But Tutor and I will be there on the blessing ceremony, I promised!" Yim replied.
"You and Tutor really needs to be at the opening ceremony or else Nat, and I will curse you forever!" Nunew stated.
"Yes, yes don't worry! Now meet my cousin, he is already waiting for you at the lobby" Yim answered back.
Although surprised, Nunew and Nat can't help but be thankful to Yim. This is a good opportunity for them considering Panich building is the biggest and nearest structure to their café.
So, after a lot of thank you from Nat and Nunew, Yim hangs up his phone and they proceeded to the lobby of Panich building and even from afar they saw a handsome guy who they believe can be an actor or a model.
He can't be Yim's cousin, right? Nunew thought.
"Hi! I am Max, Yim's cousin. Are you Nunew and Nat?" Asked Max but his eyes focusing on Nat which Nunew easily and clearly noticed.
"Hi Max, yes. I am Nunew and he is Nat. We are Yim's friends." Nunew answered while pointing at Nat.
"Good, let's go and I'll accompany you in the pantry to hand out your flyers." Max said.
Nunew elbowed Nat after spotting him speechless and perplexed.
"Are you okay Nat?" Nunew whispered to Nat.
"I am okay, just starstruck really." Nat answered in whisper too.
And Nunew laughed a bit. He knew that Max is Nat's type being his friend since high school.
This is going to be a very interesting day indeed. Nunew believed.
They were able to give out most of the flyers they have with just a very few left on their hands. They are happy too to meet as many employees as possible and share a bit of story of their café shop.
Everyone seems interested to try their café shop, and they just hope to see them all once the shop opens.
It was around past four in the afternoon when they decided to leave the office building.
Max came to check on them once more and Nunew felt the need to give him and Nat some moments hence he excused himself to go to the bathroom.
He was about to leave the bathroom when he bumped into someone, he said sorry, but when he looked up, he was surprised to see a familiar face that he is not expecting to see again.
"Hello there, it seems like you always bump into me outside a bathroom door." The stranger said.
Nunew unable to move as he can't believe what he is seeing.
Is it really him again? The handsome yet arrogant guy he met at Pentagon last time.
And what is he doing here? Is he working here? Is this a joke? All running on his thoughts.
"Hmm are you okay?" I am Zee by the way. Zee Pruk Panich. The guy said.
"Zee Pruk Panich? Panich?" Nunew answered in low voice.
"Yes. Panich. I own this building." He replied in a firm and confident tone.
And Nunew doesn't know what to feel at this moment. He can see the arrogance and confidence on Zee's face, and he doesn't like it.
"Well, Mr. Panich who is the owner of this building if you can excuse me, please. I need to go." Nunew answered with disgust.
"This is the second time that you are walking out on me, don't you think it's kind of impolite?" Zee retorted.
"Ohhh I am so sorry Mr Owner if you feel that way, but I just return the favor."
"You are really different, I like you." Zee reacted.
"And I don't like you. Period." Nunew responded and hastily walked away from Zee, but the guy grabbed his arms and pulled him back that Nunew's hands fell to his chest, again.
The first time was when they met in Pentagon.
Zee whispered to his ears "Be careful what you wish for baby."
And Nunew once again felt his body shaking just like the first time they met. His brains unable to process anything at this point, he was just staring to Zee as if time stood still.
He keeps on telling his body to move, this is not right he insists. But he can't. His body obviously not listening to him right now.
"I will let you go for now, but I can't promise I will do so again next time I see you Sweetheart." Zee said while grinning then lets him go and walked away.
Nunew still stunned, stands behind the wall near him as if getting some support from it and stayed there for few minutes.
He can't believe what just happened. His heart beating super-fast. His body still shaking but not as much as earlier.
What is going on with me? He asked himself.
