After quite a lengthy flight, the party finally touched down in Cosmo Canyon. Cid managed to find a small landing strip to land the Branco on as they then disembarked the plane, Yuffie being the first since she needed to throw up.
"Brought ya as far as I could. Hope y'all don't mind walkin', 'cause now you're on your own!" Cid said to the group
"What about the next time we need a lift?" Asked Barret. Cid hummed for a second before giving his response.
"Send up a signal. Just make sure I got room to land. Happy trails to ya!" with those last words the door to the Bronco closed up and Cid took off. Red XIII started to walk away from the strip while Jaune and the others watched the takeoff.
"The vale's this way." He said, grabbing their attention and leading them towards Cosmo Canyon. As they began to trek their way through the canyon, Caith Sith had some questions for the group about Sephiroth and what he wanted. Cloud, being the Sephiroth expert, answered all the cat's questions about how Sephiroth wants to save the planet despite killing everybody to accomplish this goal. This leads into Barret's usual speech about how Shinra was bleeding the planet dry and how if Caith ever betrays them, there will be consequences.
'I should look in my store to see if there is a skill book to mute people' thought Jaune. While he has nothing against Barret, hearing him go on and on all the time about Shinra was getting annoying. It could also come in handy if he ever needs to shut Yuffie up, he has no doubt everybody would thank him for that. The party soon was able to see a village built around some of the mountains and cliffs in the distance.

"Behold Cosmo Canyon. A sacred sanctuary where the planet's greatest minds gather. Said Red XIII as he gazed upon the village.
"It's...beautiful. More than I ever imagine. C'mon, let's pick up the pace! I can hear it calln' my name!" said Barret, excitedly with Aerith agreeing with him. They all walked a bit more as they soon were on the wooden bridge walking towards the entrance to Cosmo Canyon.
"Hey, guys! It's me! I'm back!" Red XIII's voice suddenly went up a few octaves as he ran towards the guards of the village.
"All your ears are working, right? Because I could have sworn that Red's voice suddenly got higher." Jaune asked them confused, not sure if his ears were working correctly as he heard Red XIII's higher voice
"Yup." Cloud said, equally confused but confirming that he heard the same thing alongside everybody else. They all got to the entrance of the town with the guard petting Red XIII, his tail flailing wildly and almost hitting Barret with it.
"Now, why don't you go pay your respects to Fellow Bugenhagen? Go on!" The guard said to Red XIII as he then returned to his post before looking at the rest of them.
"You can let them through. They're good people, I promise. After all, they're the reason I'm here." Red XIII vouched for them before running off.
"What in the hell was that? "Hey, guys! It's me!" ...Who?" Barret did a poor imitation of Red XIII getting a chuckle out of Aerith.
