When Jaune exited the portal, he found himself standing on top of a large building in a city filled with lights, the sky was covered by clouds that gave it a dreary look. Taking a quick look around, he saw that some of the buildings had strange characters he didn't recognize and that it was suspiciously quiet. His enhanced hearing didn't pick up any sounds besides some crows cawing in the sky for miles around. When he looked to the streets below, he saw some people in similar uniforms wielding weapons.
"Better take a look around." Jaune said as he started to jump from roof to roof, avoiding catching the gaze of those below as he moved swiftly. As he kept jumping around, he saw that every single street had these people on them and nobody else, he could see they were anxious like they were preparing for a fight.
"Looks like something big is gonna be happening very soon." Jaune commented as he then felt an immense amount of power close by. Quickly stopping, he looked down on the street to find out who was emanating what he just sensed. He saw more of those people in the street, and was that a panda he saw down there as well? Jaune shook his head as he kept examining them until he found who's power he was feeling.
It was coming from a man who was very tall, lean, and muscular man that has snow-white hair. He was wearing a dark blue zip-up jacket with a high collar that was also fairly wide with white bandages over his eyes.

"So you're the strongest one here." Jaune said as he could tell the massive difference in power between this man and the rest of the others. Before he could say anything else, he heard a massive roar as he turned to see a bunch of different creatures in the sky approaching the current location of him and those below.

(Cursed Spirits)
"Cursed spirits huh." Jaune said having figured out what was going on here. Those people below were gathered to fight off these spirits invading the city. Close by the spirits he spotted some people standing on a building, they didn't look like they belonged to the others so they must either be observers or enemies. His enhanced hearing picked up what they were saying, that they were here to stall for time for someone named Geto.
