Princess's POV
"THAT WAS THE CRAZIEST FIGHT EVER" I rave to my lunch table
My lunch table consisted of my boyfriend, Adrian, my best friend since pre-school, Gia, Adrian's best friend, Alan and Amy who just spawned in middle school I still don't know where she came from
"Send me the video" Amy said pulling out her phone
"Just air drop it" Alan says shoving food in his mouth
"Ew close your mouth. Don't air drop it you're gonna get in trouble" Gia shrugs
"Make me" Alan sticks his tongue out at Gia like a child
"ALAN STOP" Gia says giggling, hitting him with the cardboard lunch trays
"And you guys always tell me to grow up" Adrian rolls his eyes and puts his head on my shoulder looking at my phone
"I got the best angle of this, I should send it to the barstool account their gonna love this" I smile brightly while saving the video into my 'fights' folder in my phone
"Sure" Adrian kisses my cheek than sits up
My stomach gets warm
'I love my boyfriend'
"I love you" I say to Adrian shutting my phone off and putting it in my bag
"I love you too" Adrian says
The rest of our lunch table is single
We consider them our kids
They just stare everytime an interaction like this happens
Which is pretty often
When Adrian lifts his head up, however
I notice someone staring at us
Not even us, me
It's Daniel
I didn't wanna put too much thought into it, I knew Adrian would have some things to say to Daniel
I didn't wanna cause I scene
I threw my lunch away
"We're definitely getting a presentation about this tomorrow" Amy giggled re-watching the fight video for like the 3rd time
"Remember when we caused the cyber-bully one? We are not good examples here at all.." Gia says with her forehead in her palm, shaking her head in disappointment
"Okay well the cyber-bully assembly wasn't our fault it wasn't only us, in fact it wasn't us, it was Olivia" Alan argued
"Wait thats true, we didn't say anything technically we made Olivia do it" Amy agreed with Alan's broad statement
"Well we did take part I guess because we obviously told her to say that" Gia decided to fuel the fire more
"Well we didn't get in trouble for it" Adrian says giggling at the whole interaction
This is my family
I love them
But I could hardly pay attention to what they had going on, but I know who did
Daniel definitely did
My stomach felt like it was getting kicked every time he looked in my direction
We ended off on bad terms
I feel like I should apologize
But at the same time im so so so guilty
I should've apologized
It was the last day of 8th grade and we sat in the school parking lot waiting to be picked up
