I didn't have time to explain anything to Alex. I barely felt the loudest noise, I just ran, knowing something was very wrong. Alex, without asking questions, followed me to a nearby street. It seemed normal, pedestrians were walking, everything was calm. But then, out of nowhere, we noticed something that made my heart skip a beat.

-Look! —Alex said, his eyes wide.

The street, slightly inclined, showed a truck coming down at full speed. I could hear the wheels screeching and the horn honking non-stop. My first instinct was to run towards the truck, but I froze for a second.

"He probably ran out of brakes," Alex commented, his face worried.

We watched the truck get dangerously close, but what scared me most was not the truck itself, but the old woman moving slowly down the street. She was older than Clara, leaning on her walker. I had no idea what was about to happen.

—Rex, the lady! —Alex exclaimed, pointing at her.

In my mind, I was already ready to use elasticity and stop the truck, but Alex stopped me before I could even take a step.

"No, first get the lady out of there," he ordered me firmly. But now, take off your jacket. Show them who you are.

I didn't doubt it. In a matter of seconds, I took off my jacket, revealing the black suit. Venom's mask slid down my face as I ran towards the old woman. Carefully, I grabbed her waist, making sure not to hurt her back. Then, in a single leap, I carried her to safety across the street. The people around stopped to watch, amazed. They knew he wasn't just any human.

The truck continued on its course, and worst of all, it was heading towards a gas station. My heart jumped in panic as I imagined what could happen if I hit the fuel tanks.

—I must stop him! —I said to myself.

I ran towards the center of the street, unleashing the symbiote's powers. I stretched my arms and legs, using the elasticity to catch the truck before it reached its destination. The weight of the vehicle hit me hard, much more than I had anticipated. I felt how the symbiote on my feet began to detach little by little from the pressure. The truck was pulling me, as if it was going to crush me at any moment.

For a moment, doubt invaded me. "What if I can't?" I thought. But then I saw Alex, who was looking at me from across the street. It reminded me that I was not alone.

—You're not alone, Rex! —Alex shouted.

Those words gave me strength. I gritted my teeth and no matter what happened, I refused to give in. I used all my strength and little by little I managed to get the truck to stop. The vehicle's momentum began to give way, and when I finally had it under control, I pulled it into reverse, pulling it toward me.

The man driving the truck emerged shaking, but appeared unharmed. I ran to him and asked urgently:

-Alright?

"Y-yes, thank you..." he said, unable to hide the fear in his voice.

Before I could ask any more questions, I heard someone shouting excitedly. A teenager had approached and was recording everything with his cell phone.

-Incredible! You stopped him! The boy shouted, not seeming to care about my monstrous appearance. You are a hero! What is your name?

I looked at the boy, knowing he couldn't just be Rex here. He had a new name, a new purpose.

"I'm Venomheart," I answered, firmly.

The boy smiled, excited, and I looked at Alex. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I had done something important. And this time, it wasn't just to save someone, but because he was really starting to believe in what he could be.
