Everything happened very quickly.

The sound of lightning preparing to fire ran through me like a chill. As soon as I saw Doctor Ock point towards the roller coaster where Alex and Lucy were, I didn't think twice. My body reacted instinctively and the symbiote, as if reading my mind, extended one of its tentacles towards Ock. My hand, covered by the black suit, reached out at incredible speed, pushing Ock away just before he fired.

The three villains—Ock, Rhino, and Impact—turned to me, surprised. He was no longer wearing the disguise he had used to go unnoticed, and he didn't have the mask. My true face, my dog head, was exposed, but it didn't matter now. I had stopped hiding.

Rhino was the first to speak, with a crooked smile. "My, my," he said in a mocking tone.

Impact followed him, crossing his arms as he looked me up and down. "Look who showed up. The dog who put on the suit."

My gaze wavered for a second. I was scared. This was not a game. He had faced these guys before, but now everything seemed different. They were more determined, more violent. But fear couldn't stop me, not when my family's lives were in danger.

Doctor Ock watched me, a malicious smile appearing on his face. "It looks like you've learned a lot, don't you think, little dog?" His tone was contemptuous, as if he was mocking everything he had achieved so far.

I looked at the three of them, feeling my anger growing. My voice came out deep and firm. "Leave my family alone."

Ock let out a laugh, as if he found my warning hilarious. "Give us the suit," he said, with overwhelming confidence.

I stared at them, my eyes full of determination. "Stay away." There was nothing more to say. I wasn't going to give in.

Ock, without losing his smile, gave the order. "Attack!"

Rhino and Impact charged towards me, and immediately the symbiote activated, enveloping my body with the agility of a hunter. I was dodging Rhino as his brutal mass tried to crush me. Every blow Impacto threw I narrowly evaded, moving as if the air itself was whispering to me where the next attacks would be. I used the symbiote's elasticity to counter its movements, jumping, stretching, throwing quick punches.

My mind analyzed each step, but it was not enough. Although he managed to hold off Rhino and Impact, Ock was free, and in the blink of an eye, I saw him raise his mechanical arm again, this time pointing directly at the roller coaster.

My heart stopped for a second when I saw the beam of energy forming in the cannon. Time seemed to slow down as he looked at Alex and Lucy. I couldn't fail.

"No," was the only thing I could say, before watching the beam shoot straight towards them.
