"Attention! Return to the dock and cut the engine immediately!" The woman repeated as two other helicopters flew past.
"Yes, yes, yes! We are saved!" Kenji cheered and ran inside the cabin.
"Kenji, stop!" I quickly climbed up the ladder and ran inside the room. I pulled back the lever stopping the boat.
"I'm not exactly getting good guys vibes, Kenj." Darius said.
"Yeah, unmarked chopper, big, scary guns." Yaz said walking inside with the others.
"Oh, I'm sorry, what would you bring to rescue kids from an island full of killer dinosaurs? Cake?"
"I wouldn't mind that actually." Brooklynn gave me a glare. "Yeah I'll shut my mouth." Suddenly thunder began to strike.
"The sea is pretty rough."
"All right, then. We take our chances with the people in the helicopter?" Darius asked, the others. They all nodded slightly. "It's your call, boss."
I thought about it for a moment. We had fought so hard to get to this moment. I almost died trying to get here. But it was pretty hard out on the water.
"We take our chances with them." I answered. I nodded to Kenji to take us back. He nodded back and began to turn the ship around.
"You think it was the right call?" Darius asked.
"I hope."
After a few minutes we made it back to the dock and tied the ship to an anchor. The helicopter then landed up ahead.
We all approached carefully. I stood in front hand ready to shoot. A man hopped out with a rifle in hand.
We made our way to him. "What are you kids doing out here?" He asked.
"Long story! Too long."
"Way too long." Ben, Sammy, and Kenji headed inside the chopper first.
"Wait, if you're not here to rescue us, then why are you here?" Ben asked. But as he asked we could hear footsteps approaching followed by a roar.
It was Rexy. "Great! The one time you wanna show up, you show up at the worst time!" The helicopter then pulled up trying to get away. Rexy quickly got a hold of the chopper before she lost her grip.
The man yelled out to the pilot but was eaten alive. The pilot then pulled off, leaving us behind.
"Wow, you're getting a 1 star on Uber."
"Just run!"
We quickly took off running into the jungle trying to escape the T. Rex. Rexy continued to chase us far into the jungle.
"Why is she so eager to kill us?!" I quickly grabbed Brooklynn and hid. The other two did the same as Rexy began to search the area.
Rexy stopped where Yaz was hiding before lifting up the log above exposing her. Yaz quickly took off running as Rexy chased after.
We quickly followed after seeing Rexy and Yaz trying to cross over a log. Yaz tripped and tried to climb up but fell into the ditch. Rexy stood over her about to eat her till we threw pebbles at her.
"This was a horrible idea."
"Nah, really? I thought it was an amazing plan."
"Run!" We took off running as Rexy chased us. We quickly ran in between two trees as Rexy began to squeeze her way in.
