The corpses of enemies and family members alike litter the room. Flies were starting to gather and the putrid scent of decay was building. Once the last body was brought inside Jack shut the door. Doing everything in his power to ignore his building panic attack, he closes his eyes and rests his face in his hands.
He was really about to do this. He could rationalize it away as much as he likes but it doesn't make it any easier to actually bring himself to do it. His ears droop as he takes a deep breath. Dragging his hands down his face, his fur pulled back, laying flat against his skin as he digs for the feeling he gets during his frenzies. Trying to find any way to make this easier.
So he starts with the raid beasts. At least he wasn't dipping into cannibalism just yet, much less eating his own family. After all that has happened it is going to take a lot more than a cute face to keep the buck from eating the weasels. Just remembering his littermate hanging lifelessly from the jaws of one of them made him see red.

A jolt of static sends the man to his knees. Jack watches as he gets thinner. The sudden pang of hunger smothered by the immense gratification he feels at this moment. The crackling energy shooting from his abdomen outward, branching through each and every inch of his body before a searing pleasure brands it into his flesh.
If this is what dungeon beasts experienced with every level then it was no wonder they were mindless monsters. Gaining that level was nothing like his first level. There wasn't any pain, he still had most of his mind and his stats were climbing with every level.
[Level Increased!]
Again. Two levels just from the beasts and there were plenty of bodies to go. Despite how thin he was getting he felt so full of energy. 'Power.'
Hitting his head against the wall, Jack inhales deeply and tries to push back the intrusive thoughts suddenly flooding his mind. Thoughts of shedding more blood of his own kin in order to increase his strength.
{"They will be revived regardless. Feast."}

Jack's eyes snap open as he snarls. Red and blue bleeding into one another as purple veins spread along the edges of his vision before turning an oily ink black. 'I have to keep eating but the moment I try to harm my own I will not hesitate to rip my own fucking throat out.' The voice in the back of his head almost seems to pause before retreating. The pleasure that had filled his body fading along with it as he held his face and kept going.
Once all of the stoats were gone he moved onto the enemy Leoporcitae. The amount of pity he held for them was so negligible devouring them was easier than he thought it would be. 'Guess if I were eating a human I would have a bit more of an issue.' Yet the more he ate the less he thought about what (who) he was eating.

"Bet those skills will be all sunshine and rainbows." He rolls his eyes as he rubs his temples. Now looking at the remaining bodies he starts to feel sick to his stomach. "I really hope you guys can forgive me for this..."
[You have gained the Title: [Kin Eater].]
