There were not many things I was afraid of. I wasn't afraid of thunder, snakes, insects, heights.

And death definitely didn't scare me either. I already knew how to handle knives pretty well, but in these six months I knew everything about them.

I was already great with them at short distance but now I was lethal at long distance too.

I could aim them perfectly between your eyes, in your stomach, heart or right in their dicks.

After Sin's latest message, I figured I should bring my knives everywhere I went.

Run Spider run. Really?

Ain't no way that I was gonna run.

"What was that about?" Lando asked as I walked back to the hospitality.

"I just got a phoneca-"

"Not that" he interrupted me. "That little play with Max?"

"Oh, he just asked if I was free" I shrugged. "Why? Are you jealous?"

"No" He laughed, such a fake laugh. "I just want to make sure you're not gonna paint on him"

"Oh Lando" I patted his chest a couple of times. "I only do that with abusers and traitors"

I let my shoulder brush against his as I walked passed him. I wasn't gonna waste my time on him, I had tons of mails to get through.

I put my headphones on, trying to cancel everything out. Which was easier said than done because my mind kept going to that note.

Why would someone kill the fuckers that I killed just to threaten me?

What a fucking mindgame was this guy playing?

Max waited for me in front of the Mclaren hospitality and as I walked out, Lando was leaning against the wall, looking at the both of us.

I didn't know what his problem was, if I was honest.

He ratted me out, even though he denied that, I was still pretty sure it was him.
I mean, it was his number, so who else could it be?

Fair enough, I kicked him out, blocked his number and went away for 6 months.
He claimed I broke his heart.

But he broke mine too.

Max took me on a quick walk, nothing big, nothing too serious. Just a walk around the city, which was incredibly nice.

"So about Lando and yo-"

"You shouldn't worry about Lando" I cut him off. He was the last thing I wanted to talk about.

"I never said I was worried about him" he raised an eyebrow. "I just wanted to check if that was completely done?"

"Oh definitely" I nodded. "That door is closed, locked and I threw the key in the deepest ocean"

"And you're not gonna swim after it?"

"I am not a really good swimmer" I shook my head.

He chuckled at that. "Okay noted"

He was a breath of fresh air. He didn't know my past, didn't know what I used to do or who I used to be.

He only knew me as Bonnie and not as the Black Widow.

I would like to keep it that way.

"I know it is maybe a bit out of line, but I would like to get to know you better" he said, shaking me out of my thoughts.

"It's not out of line" I shook my head. "I would like to get to know you better too"

"You don't think Lando's gonna mind?"

I rolled my eyes at the mention of his name. "Obviously not, we kinda hate each other now"

"Hate and love.." Max mumbled.

I knew what he wanted to say. There's a very thin line between hate and love.

But considering I wanted to annoy or kill Lando, I would say we were pretty far on the hate part.
