To say I was dreading this was an understatement. I haven't seen Shirley for a pretty long time now and now, I was gonna stand in front of her again.

She opened the door, looking at me with a raised eyebrow. "Bonnie" she nodded.

"Shirley" I forced a smile on my face, but she knew me, she knew me so well.

She saw right through me.

She opened the door a bit more. "You wanna come in?"

"Well yeah that would be preferable" I chuckled.

I walked after her to the kitchen, we didn't say a word, but she put a drink in front of me.

I looked at it, maybe a bit too suspicious.

"Don't worry it's not poisoned, that's kinda your thing" she chuckled sarcastically.

I cleared my throat, this was so awkward.

"Look Shirley.." I tapped the kitchen counter. "I need your help"

"Yeah why am I not surprised" she gestured to follow her to the living room. I grabbed my glass and followed her.

It was still the same, except that she had a picture with Nick now, hanging next to her tv.

"Is that still going on?" I pointed at the picture, which definitely wasn't the best thing to do. She turned her head to me, and if eyes could kill, then I would be very dead by now.

"Yes" she snapped. "Is your little thing with Lando still going on?"

I snorted. "Yeah and it's going great"

"I bet" she chuckled.

"And for your information, he doesn't have a little thing" I added.

She blinked as she looked at me and I looked back at her.

And then we both started laughing. Just like.. old times.

We talked a bit about our lives and whenever she talked about Nick, I could see she really likes him. This wasn't fake for her.

Hopefully it wasn't fake for him either.

"Why didn't you text me?" I asked. "You just stopped talking to me"

Which wasn't fair for me to ask because I stopped talking to her as well.
But I wanted to know if she knew I thought she was a snake.

She sighed. "We have been friends for seven years. I can't believe you thought I wouldn't realize how different you were acting"

"Did you call the cops that night?"

"I didn't" she almost immediately shook her head. "I swear I didn't"

"Then why did you tell Sin it was Lando's number?"

"I panicked" she looked down. "I thought you would regret quitting with the Black Widow, I hated that you wanted to stop because of Lando"

"So you blamed him, you wanted me to hate Lando, leave him"

And I did. I didn't trust him for a long time, because of her.

"Yes but I regret it so much, Bonnie. I just didn't want to lose you"

"You wouldn't have lost me" I snapped. "It's not because I wanted to quit killing people, that I would stop being your friend"

She nodded, looked up at me and I could see how full of regret her eyes looked.

"I get it now, Bonnie" she looked at me. "I would quit for Nick too"

"Look at us, we want to quit for guys, even though we used to kill them" I laughed.

"You used to kill them" she corrected me.

Fair enough.

"Does Nick know?" I asked. She shook her head. "Sometimes I feel bad, he's still looking for the Black Widow, not knowing that I used to help her"

It must kill her to lie to him like that, but telling Nick would be the biggest mistake.

"Anyways, why do you need my help?" She asked, already grabbing her laptop.

It made me excited, hopeful because I knew she would find everything about this fucker.

I was gonna find him and I was gonna end this.

Forever.
