It was midnight, and Alec had finished pro-trolling through the castle. Always wanting to make sure everything was at its best for the castle to be at ease throughout the night.

Plus he hadn't had much to keep him occupied, or entertained.

Jane had ran off with her newest friend, and the two were riding rollercoaster. Getting their nails done, and watching a movie tonight.

Demetri was practicing ballet to impress the Swan girl.

Felix had a crocheting lesson with his mate Jennifer.

Santiago, Afton, and Benjamin had a boys DND game that they didn't include others in.

Alec was left to himself, and was for sure not going to seek the company of the masters. Marcus chose to spend his nights playing the piano in front of the portrait of his late wife Didyme.

Aro sat writing his fantasies out in his journal. Caius, well he was into some weird things at night.

So when he passed the room of the only human who had been giving a room, and position in the coven, and heard her slight cries. He was immediately going to see what was wrong.

"Scottlyn?" He questioned, opening the door and walking in. He navigated his way through the dark, which wasn't so hard, and joined her side.

She hadn't looked up nor acknowledged his presence. She clutched her hair, and her eyes were bloodshot with tears. She must have had a nightmare. Without uttering another word, Alec pulled her up and laid her head on the pillow, and covered her up.

"It's ok Scott. I'm right here."

Her breathing finally returned to normal, and her face dried. Though sticky with dried tears, she seemed to relax.

Figuring she was alright, he moved to stand.

"Please.." She whispers. Her hand swinging forward and grabbing the hem of his shirt.  "Stay with me until I fall back to sleep..."

And he did. Till she woke the next morning, a smile growing as she hugged his waist.
